Have you had your taxes prepared yet? If so, what have you spent your money on or did you pay off debts. I plan on

Haven't received anything to start getting the information together.  Usually do not get W2's until the last week in January

I won't be filing taxes.

Why not?

I'm expecting a refund so will hopefully complete mine as soon as I have all the information.

I don't believe anyone receives there w2's until the last pay of the month. The employer has by January 31st to get this to the employee. So most of the country won't be doing their taxes until February...lol. I should know, I prepare them. :)

No. Yesterday was the first day a bit of paperwork came in that we need to do the 2016 taxes but we are still waiting for a lot more info. I usually get the taxes done using TurboTax software by the end of January, though.

I haven't received all my tax forms yet.  Normally send everything to my accountant in the first to weeks of February.

I won't be filing until the end of March or the beginning of April. I have to wait for some 1099's from Zazzle and from stocks I had.

I have not received any of my tax forms yet. Once I do I am very likely to use TurboTax and that's what I always use when I do my taxes.

I haven't done taxes before

If you do the online forms, they lead you through the whole thing and it's a lot cheaper. That is, if you don't have some really complicated issues with your taxes.

I can't bear the thought of paying someone to do my taxes. No offense to those of you who do it. :notworthy: I've done other people's taxes for free, but not a big fan of doing it.
