The last year of college is the worst. The hardest part about going back to school when you are an adult with responsibilities is staying committed and finishing. Now that I am in the home stretch I have less motivation to do my assignments and just want to finish.
-
I believe you! It took me many years to finish my schooling! It takes a lot of commitment and sacrifice, and then when you've graduated, today you're not even sure that you'll land a job after all that hard work and money spent.
-
I can understand where you are coming from. I am in college right now and you do have to sacrifice a lot and be committed to it. I hope when I finish that I can find the job I want.
-
I can understand the last year is a struggle but just think how far you have come and you have almost achieved your goal. Hang in there just a little longer and reap the rewards of your hard work. :) :) :) :)

Do not give up after all that hard work...keep up the fight

The workload was the toughest part for me.

Hang in there! Your accomplishment will put you one step ahead of the others. Live as if you were die tomorrow...Learn as if you were to live forever (Ghandi). The work arena is not the best and at times you will feel like a slave/prisoner to corporate/government but your mind, a beautiful thing, can never be taken from you. Your degree may offer more opportunity and open more doors for you in the future within the vocational world. Keep that in mind with every report you complete and every test you prepare for. The contacts you make during your advanced educational pursuits may be in a position to help you get ahead in the future. I generally put the resumes of someone who graduated from my university in the stack for consideration-along with those that have worked their way through college.

You can do it. Hang in there. It will be worth the work.
-
Gal, you got this. Hopefully, i am gonna register for my program(nursing) this fall if i finish my prerequuuisite early enough....UGARRITGAL!!!

College in general is terrible. There isn't much on the job training, and it doesn't guarantee you work after you graduate.
-
Hang in there and get it done. My daughter graduated college at 41 years old. It was hard on her but she did it.
-
Hang in there! I am working on my third (and final) degree, so I sympathize with you. However, remember that you are in the home stretch, and the final months and years will go by faster than you think. Also, at the end of the day, think about the end state: that diploma with your name on it!
-
I think that is normal! Senioritis is a thing! Just keep your eye on the prize and be sure to ENJOY it!

my niece is working on her PhD.
this is her last year.
she had a baby before Thanksgiving.
she is juggling between writing her final dissertation and caring for baby.
she has help from my sister and her mother in law.
if she doesn't make the deadline for the dissertation, she loses her PhD and the 5 years she invested. she was hoping to get more done; baby is taking more time than expected.

Hang in there, you're almost at the first line! Here's some perspective, option1 picture yourself finish & free with a diploma; Option2 you slack off & find out on graduation week you don't graduate cuz you were missing some credits required to graduate but because you didn't turn/finished the work you lost your credits. Oh, no have to go to summer school, oh, no they don't offer that course in the summer gonna have to retake that course in the Fall! NO U DON'T WANT 2 SLACK OFF!
-
Definitely the hardest part is finding a job and getting ready for the real world.
-
You have come this far, just hang in there the light is at the end of the tunnel. You made a big decision to go for your dream not just see it through.Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Never had a problem with motivation at the end of my college year because my field revolves around it daily (took my last programming and electrical classes at the end)... If I had to be a first year student at college I would always go to a community college with a good transfer program.. Do all humanity and social science first or at the summer (online)... Take all major classes later

Hang in there the worst part is over so don't give up.
-
Hang in there. My daughter is going the same thing for her master's degree and I cannot wait for her to graduate this May. Hope you both will be more relaxed

It will be worth it. You just have to keep going. Don't quit. At least it is your last year!
