cash debit or credit i use debit more then any thing but i also use cash when i have it my credit cards i only use in emergency i do not like to run the credit cards up
-
I never have cash on me, I spend it if I do. So I 99% of the time use my debit card, I even have been in the grocery store and spent $1.00 using it, lol
-
I use a certain amount of cash because i don't like to charge, but i also don't like having small amounts recorded into my check book. I once in a while will use my debit card just to keep it usable. all of my bills for utilities and such are paid by check and my house payment is taken out auto, as is my fathers phone bill.
-
I don't carry cash, I use debit card.
-
I use debit or cash, I avoid using credit card unless it is for a major purchase or an unforeseen emergency.
-
I use credit the most because of the card rewards I get but I pay it off every month.
-
I use the credit card with 2% cash back on everything. i love it :)
-
Credit credit credit. If you aren't taking advantage of cashback, you are wasting your time.
-
It is all very confusing and it depends on the Bank. Some cards can repair your credit score. While others, can give you cash back with no fees attached.
-
My preference is cash or Debit card. CC's get you in so much trouble.
-
I like using credit cards over debit, since I can earn reward points with my cc.
-
I use my debit card for daily or weekly items and try not use my credit unless it for a major purchase and that is only to get the rewards. However once I charge something I try not to use it again until I pay it off
-
I use my Credit cards more then my Debit depending on which one has the better % cashback or so.
-
Credit with cash back and small amounts I pay cash.
-
I generally use cash but it is to my advantage to use my credit card that I get cash back on.
I have a rule for my credit card purchases, if it is not an emergency, I do not buy anything that I cannot deposit the cash to pay for. It keeps me from running up my credit card and makes me save for the things I want.
My debit card is used only for the convenience of making deposits to my account when the bank is closed.
-
I mostly used my credit card to take advantage of the cash back, but my bank is starting to have some cash back deals for using debit card certain places so I use that a little more regularly now!
-
I only use a debit card, no credit cards, they tend to get you in trouble, like using checks, been stop using checks.
-
I used to have a debit card, but not anymore after I switched to another bank. Nowadays I pay with cash for gas and groceries. I earn cash back bonuses with my credit card to pay for bills and online purchases. I am good at controlling how much is spent on credit as I always pay off the entire balance when the credit card statement is due. It builds up your credit score. I am diligent at recording my debits and credits on an Excel sheet I have setup with a formula for myself to track down my current balance instead of using the traditional check register. I enjoy working with numbers.

I know it is convenient to carry a debit card, however, I think you should always keep some cash in your wallet just in case. I am not sure what state you live in, but some markets, restaurants or stores don’t accept debit/credit cards if your purchase total is below the $10 or $20 minimum.
-
I try to keep our credit cards locked up in the safe...usually use my debit card. rarely have cash on me anymore. seems like I spend it a lot faster if i'm using cash.
-
I use my debit card for most of my purchases. Most of my bills are paid online. I only write about 3 checks per month because everything else is paid online.
-
I do not carry cash with me because of possible muggings.
I use travelers checks, money orders or plastic only.
I use my PIN number all the times to avoid using an
electronic signature.
-
i like to use cash,,,easyer to keep track of,,,,,,,,
-
Debit and Credit. Only use cash occasionally.
-
I use prepaid debit card
-
I would say I use my credit card the most often.
-
Mostly debit cards
-
I generally use my debit card for small purchases. Larger purchases I will use my credit card so that I can earn reward dollars for my vacation fund.
-
I use my debit card.
I shop online.
I go a bit further to protect myself from fraud.
I calculate my spending.
I call the bank and tell them how much I am going to spend; I average it as close to the actual total for that day.
They set my purchasing limit to that amount; no more no less.
When my purchases have been authorized, I call the bank and have my purchase limit set down to zero. It's worth the effort to protect myself.
Even though a person isn't using their card, debit or credit, the purchase limit is set at a high amount all the time.
People think they are free to spend all they want...unless or until they are hacked.
"It's easy to get card replaced." It's also easy for someone else to have fun at your expense.
-
Cash or debit card first. Then the credit card, which I pay in total each month.
-
I use cash more than debit card, but I don't spend too much.
-
I tend to use a credit card for everything I can because it allows you to dispute a charge if you don't think it was right after you paid with the card. I think it would be harder to get your money back if you pay with cash, check or debit card.
-
Although cash is said to be king, I think it is now being relegated to being much lower of the scale of things. I rarely carry much cash so a robber would be sorely disappointed. My debit card is in regular use with the credit card only for larger purchases.
-
Most of the time I use my DC. If I have the cash I will use that.
-
I use mainly use my debit card on purchases unless I do have cash on me. I would never use a credit card unless I needed too
-
debit mostly but then if I need to use the credit card I try to pay it off next payday. Recently I had to rack it up due to necessary car repairs and I am still whittling it down but you do what you have to do right?
-
I use a debit card almost always.
It's quick & efficient.
-
I'm going to stop using my debit card so much and only pull cash from savings; doing so will help to control spending- or at least I hope :clover:
-
I prefer the credit card but I have been using cash lately on items under $20.
-
I don't like credit cards, so use a debit card and no checks, don't like the finance charges, or over draft fees.
-
I use credit more then debit it just depends more on which one is giving me more benefits on cashback or points.
-
Debit card for me. I rarely use cash. For obvious reasons, I try to refrain from using my credit card...unless it is for maintenance/repairs on my vehicle.
-
I use both, but if i have cash on hand i use that
