Chemo and the nausea that goes with it and not being able to keep anything down, I think you are so lucky to be not dealing with wasting away from the drugs. I had to fight with my mom to eat a cracker she was 219 pounds when we started her chemo and she was 104 when they stopped. I couldn't even eat in front of her or she'd get sick and even the smell of food in parking lots made her sick. They gave her some fancy nausea pills that cost 70.00$ a pop and they didn't help. I'm so happy your treatments don't cause you such pain as to not like food at all. You must have a great team of Dr's.

Watch your diet carefully now because your body will appreciate it later.

Actually I don't diet. My doctor doesn't like my sugar level and told me to ditch starchy food (like pasta, rice, and potatoes) because they turn into sugar. She also made me ditch soda. So I drink plain water and eat alot more salad. I've lost 20lbs so far. I personally think the best way to loose weight is to not think about loosing weight. Start exercising and eating healthier to have a healthier body. It's less stressful to think about having a stronger body then killing yourself exercising to only find out you haven't lost as much as you want in the time frame you set for yourself.

Yeah I do and eat healthy... but then I get 600 calories back at night when I start drinking beer.

I've been trying to slim down a bit lately!

I sure hear you on the beer, so I tried the select 55 and found out I was pretty much buying beer with no kick for the same price if not more. It's like 2.4 less than 3.2 . I been on a diet for 3 weeks now and not had a beer, man this is ruff!! :( :( :(

No I don't diet a whole lot, but I do watch what I eat and make sure its healthy.

Never ever diet; never have; never will; God willing.
I try to eat healthy foods and not too much of it at a time, try not to stress and exercise when I can.
I consider diets a horrible thing to do to oneself. I believe most statistics have shown that you usually gain more back than what you lose for every time you try. Not good odds.

I tend to agree with linderlizzie. I feel like when you're dieting, you're just waiting for the chance to eat "the good stuff" again, and because you've missed it so much, you overdo it, and get hooked eating it too often, and eventually gain the weight back. Diets can be too restrictive. I think anyone should just aim to be healthy, with some treats thrown in the mix, and get in as much exercise as they feel like (ideally a couple times a week). There are days where I loathe and despise the idea of exercising, so I don't do it. Then there are days where I'm excited at the thought of exercising, so I do. :)

congrats on your weight. I have not had much luck with my discipline this time.
-
No, dieting never worked for me.
-
I try to, I mainly focus more on what I eat on a consistent basis, but I hardly ever go on a strict routine where I only eat one thing or something of that nature.
-
i dont diet and my weight has stayed arounf the same over the years .Congrats on losing all that weight
-
We just try to eat health here.
-
I try. I need to loose 10-15 pounds. I'm not fat mind you, but I'm above my healthier, normal weight and it's starting to take notice.
-

I use to, but not no more. I notice that when I stopped I would gain the double the weight. Now I stay at the same weight.

I don't diet, but I eat very healthy food only. It's more of a lifestyle for me.
-
It helps to make subtle changes that will have a big impact such as switching from soda to sparkling water and drinking a bottle of water before every meal to help fill up and flush out toxins and switch from fried foods to grilled/baked/etc.
-
No I don't diet. I try to eat healthy and get exercise mostly in the summer with gardening and yard work.
-
Rather than "diet" I just try to watch and pay careful attention to my calories and carbs and that seems to keep my weight in check. Of course, if I wanted to lose weight, I would just cut out more carbs and calories!!
-
I take medicine for my diabetes that makes me loose weight, so it's by choice not a need.
-
I put on some weight the last couple years and now I'm in the process of taking it off...diet and exercise.

I don't diet a lot but I do work out a lot Lol if that counts.
