Title: Sleep
Post by: melodylogan45 on May 27, 2017, 09:08:15 am
How many hours of sleep do you get every night? I get around 6 hours of sleep. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in pain and have to get out of the bed to do something quickly, then get back in bed and my mind does not shut down for awhile.

I get about five hours during the week.  I try to get more on the weekend but my body is so used to getting up early that on the weekends it wakes up at the same time anyway.

At least 7 or 8 hours unless I have something important to do.
Then 2 or 3 is OK! Yes, sleep is good for you. Lose weight,
feel better, age slowly, sharp mental health and much more.
Sleep is good for your health!

I've been sleeping 10-12 hours recently. I just got my patterns back in order and I think I'm a little sleep deprived. Once things sort out I usually get 6-8 hours.

If I have to work, it’s usually somewhere between 6-8 hours depending how early I go to bed. On my days off, I prefer to stay in bed a little longer and get the full 8 hour sleep. I sleep like a baby as soon as my head hits the pillow. I never experience insomnia nor do I have problems getting back to sleep even if I have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom which only happens once in a while.

It's hit and miss with me. Normally 8 hours. However, the last few weeks I've been getting up several times in the night to help with my disabled cat who likely has brain cancer. He can only crawl at this point, has potty accidents in the bed we set up for him, needs medication, etc. The poor little guy is seizure prone.  :'( So I spend a lot of my sleeping time up with him, which of course is 100% worth it if it means him being more comfortable and not sleeping in his own potty mess!  :cat:

I maybe get 4 to 6 hours of sleep nowadays. I sometimes work late and have other things to do at night including prepping up food for the family for lunch the next day. Unfortunately half my household doesn't want to help out to cook.

I get somewhere between 4 1/2 and 6 hours per night.  My sleep seems to be affected by what is happening in my life emotionally.  My sleep pattern changed drastically once I went through menopause.  I used to be able to sleep like a baby  around 8 hours plus a night.  Unfortunately, no more!!!

I try to get 8 hours of sleep every night but actually get more like 5 1/2- 6 1/2 hours. I also wake up several times in the night too which cuts down on hours slept. My daughter recently bought me one of those noise machines that are used to soothe babies at night and that has helped with my sleeping quite a bit.

I function best when I'm in bed by 9:30 and get up around 6:30.  9 hours.  That would be a regular day in a dream world.  Getting the kids off to school...having coffee working online.  Then heading to work for a 11:30 - 8 shift.  Although... I'm in retail so often times my hours are hardly the norm and my sleep schedule just has to adjust to everything else... it's gotten easier as my kids have gotten older.

I get around 7 hours a night. Honestly, people who sleep a lot tend to be the laziest people.

Depends... I can't function on less than 4/5, so usually about 7 or 8. I should be getting way more but it's not happening...

I normally get 8 give or take one.  I can go with a little less but not too many nights in a row or I will definitely be dragging during the day.

I get between 5-7. I wish it was more but I'm so bad at going to bed at a good time.

It varies. Sometimes I get lucky and sleep 8 hours. Usually its six hours because I wake up in the middle of the night and my brain goes into hyper-mode.  Hard to back to sleep.

I have sleep disorders so I sleep when I sleep.  It's not about how long I'm asleep; but whether or not, I get quality sleep.  Sometimes I sleep best during the day.
