Today, I was trying to complete my PTC when I clicked the wrong button and accidentally got completely out of the screen. When I got back in, I was so happy that I didn't have to start all over again. The process started back from right where I left off. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. I press the wrong button and it all disappears, but I am able to start back at the same place rather than have to start at square one! This is a super feature for someone like me, and today, just felt the need to express my gratitude. Thank you, FusionCash.

That is so great, It is frustrating to have to start over
-
happens not often
-
I get upset when that happens.

That's very good to know. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad it worked out well for you.
I know what you mean about having to start all over; or worse yet, getting kicked out entirely. The other day I was taking a survey. I was on a page that had a button that opened another page. It was one of those pages that the panelist could open if he/she needed more information about the topic being discussed. Anyway, I opened the page, got the info. needed and couldn't find an 'x' anywhere on the page. When I hit the back button, I was immediately taken off the survey.
Maybe next time I should try to minimize the page first and then 'x' out. :-\

Thanks for posting on this subject. I definitely appreciate hearing about other people's missteps. Apparently there are no worries about a do-over or even losing your PTC for the day.
I've known that sinking feeling when you hit the wrong key and you've lost your survey. With the spring storms power outages are not uncommon and that happened to me last week when a storm hit suddenly and close by. It was only a quick blink as lights went off, then back on, but the PC went out and my survey in progress along with it.

That's great, you don't need have to wait for another countdown.

I have been in the same situation and I love that feature.

I've been in THAT situation, too, where I clicked for more info, then could not get back to the previous page. It's most frustrating, and you're kicking yourself for being curious and wanting the extra info. Thank goodness we don't have to worry about that on our PTC!
-
how to prevent that?
-
Great, this is!

I am really great that this happens as well and I hope they never change it. I have only clicked out once or twice, but I was short on time when I did this and every second counted.
-
That's good to know. I don't think it's ever happened to me, but at least now that I know about this great feature, I won't get mad right away if I accidentally click off before I;m finished with the PTC.

how do ya make 500 bucks a week
-
Wow that's awesome! I think I have done this before but I'm pretty sure it still made me start over.

You get a real job

You have to be quick about getting back into the site. If you let too much time expire before going back in, you will definitely have to start over from the beginning. I've had that happen, too. I've let too much time go by, just trying to work the Sudoku game, and then I have to start all over again.
-
yuk, you've make 500 dollars a week? do explain
-
how to prevent that?
I guess don't click too quick
-
That's good to know - thanks for sharing. I've done this a few times - started my PTC , had to leave computer to do something (usually having to do with my little grandson), then forget to come back for awhile. Then when I do, I find that I have to start over - frustrating, but at least I get another chance at it.
-
That's a good tip to know.
-
Yes, you have a certain amount of time to do it. If the time expires you have to start all over.
-
I see that 500 dollars a week isn't realistic
-
Ive gotten sidetracked before and came back and it has timed out. Unfortunate but totally my fault.
-
I just had the same thing happen!
-
how do ya make 500 bucks a week
HAHAHA definitely not by relying FC to make that happen
-
Well I have never experience this feature....
-
I've also lost my place while in the middle of doing the PTC and like you said I was able to finish the PTC without starting over. This only works if you do it right away though because there is a time limit that expires.
-
This is good to know. Thank you for sharing this. It's encouraging to know that others sometimes hit the wrong button also! It's good to know that we can also hit the right button too! ;)

That happens to me at times it but there i think is a time limit before you do have to redo the whole thing again. It's also made me redo it at times if id didn't click back right on time to the page
