What are your thoughts about North Korea promising to send missiles to Guam shortly, and Trump's response.

I don't think trump, and I meant to put a little "t" for his name, he should get out of the Presidency seat, he is not for the people, he only thinks people who are not like him should be taken off the planet, he is a not so good guy.

I think with this president head us we will go to war.

I really hope not. I think China said if North Korea attacks first, China will be staying out. However, if US attacks first...it'll be WWIII :( Let's hope it's just more posturing from North Korea and that Trump will stop speaking so much without consulting his advisers.

He is far from perfect, but where on earth do people get that he wants every one not like him off the planet?

I really do not understand this kind of comment. I can understand not liking Trump or his Presidency, but the propaganda that it out there making people believe that he thinks people who are not like him should be removed from the planet is so absolutely ridiculous.

I think the Donald has a natural tendency to step on toes. The donald and the leader of North Korea are like a couple of brats on the playground. I would hope that neither of them would endanger the lives of people who are serving in the military.

The only reason we haven't stopped North Korea is because our prior Presidents have just bought him off. Clinton gave him the nuclear reactor that is giving him the nuclear capability currently, the others have bought him off with US taxpayer's money. Obama knew he was capable of a miniature nuke since 2012. North Korea is a blemish, the time we can sit idly by has come & gone.... in a few years if it isn't stopped now, a nuke from that crazy man will be able to hit mainland US & then it will be too late.
US is so stupid to have let it get this far... our politicians have failed us continually. Enough already.
Hopefully sanctions will work, if we believe China... cross your fingers, or else our 650 billion a year military budget will be put to use & will forcibly end the threat.

My humble opinion is that our allies will support sanctioning North Korea since Kim Jong-un is a madman. I don't think we'll be heading to war. :neutral:
But if it's necessary, I hope we do. The right thing is the right thing whether or not we like it. :P
I personally feel that Trump is doing all he can do in spite of everything and everyone who's against him.

War is big $$$$$$ for u.s. defense companies that's why we still have troops in the Middle East and around the world.

Who was such a "good guy" over the last several presidents? I personally like Trump as much for sure as I liked the last two presidents. I think we should follow the bible's instructions and pray for those in office, pray for our country etc. I hope we don't have to go to war but I sure think it might be warranted more in the case of N Korea than all that situation in the middle east. I don't know much of anything though so I am just going to pray.

North Korea backed down on their threat on Guam. Finally a president with the backbone to call their bluff and not just give in to their demands.

Obviously trump isn't helping the situation but we were on the brink of war with North Korea anyways. It's terrible how he keeps provoking him.

I believe that this author neglected to include George Dubya Bush in his president bashing. North Korea was just as antagonistic during Dub's administration. Why didn't the almighty Dub do anything about it? Oh yeah, he was busy with intelligence reports that still have him hunting for weapons of mass destruction to this day in a war that was supposedly done ninety three days after it started (when he was on deck fluffing his feathers). I am of the thought that North Korea has not been attacked because it does not bring anything to the table (like oil). Trump is verbally engaging because of his ego and his approval ratings go up two points higher than the dismal depths they are currently mired in when the word 'war' is uttered. He learned from the Dub. The Don and the Dub...could be a comedy series!

The human race learns nothing from all the tragic wars this world always has going on, and horrible consequences folks pay.
Schools do not teach this to kids any more in history. I have four just-about-grown grand-kids who are not being taught much in history .... and much of it is distorted, political.
I think we are very likely to have a civil war here in our country once again. Actually, seems like it has started.....and it is growing.
The people pulling down statues, without voting on it or doing it civily, are communists (Workers Party, or something like that), and have no idea what that means except we all should get "our fair share", from other peoples' taxes. They are using these statues as an excuse to act out and cause lots of trouble. Trouble makes change, and authorities are obeying them out of fear. What happened to civil town halls, and having a vote??
Sooo many of these activists are paid...yes paid. They do not have all this free time because they are rich. A few rich people behind the scenes are paying them to cause chaos, and uncertainty, and mayhem. These activists should be in college, working to better themselves and this country, raising nice kids who learn to do things civily and in peace....so their kids will have a peaceful world to grow up in.
I am very concerned, and praying for police to make the right decisions, for it not to be political, to enforce laws, have backup and not just stand by...for our leaders, and those who advise them for wisdom... and the lives of those who are on the front lines dealing with this insanity protection
Praying for the Prez, his advisors, the courts, city mayors and governments to protect our citizens first, and for sanity to reign.
God help us, He is our only hope for safety and sanity.

This is totally true. The media lies about 99% of the time so we actually have no idea what is going on. And like someone else said it would be over in 10 minutes. Trump is not going to do like the previous ones in charge. He is not going to drop a fire cracker on the boarder. HE will go in and level the place and walk away like a boss. And we will come back home. I can't believe how many idiots here think we should just bow down to them and give them whatever they want. Kind of like the bully and giving him your milk money.
