Well, I can not retire someone else won the jackpot, lol. Congrats to whoever it is.
-
didnt match one number
-
Off to work I go, no win here. :monkey:
-
No win here either, maybe next time. Pretty amazing that there's only 1 winner! However, it seems like she's not getting the full $758 mil, only like ~$440 mil before tax according to the article I read. I wonder what happened to the rest.
-
I would not be upset one bit by getting 440 million for doing basically nothing lol.
-
Wished I had a lucky number to win that jackpot but no luck on winning. Maybe next time.
-
Yes, lucky that 53 year old woman. Quit job already.
-
I read that there were other BIG winners besides the $758,000,000.00 winner.
Six tickets — sold in Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and the Virgin Islands — won $2 million each.
Thirty-four others across the United States won $1 million.
-
I wonder what charity she'll choose to give to.
She said she quit her job.
That much would make a good dent in our national debt and help her family.
mmmm - taxes on that much money?
-
Just got to continue to dream a little dream.
-
Yep. I was hoping...but nope, not this time!
-
Yes, it's so frustrating! It's never you, it's never me that wins. Sometimes I think the lottery is rigged. Especially when you hear about people winning 2 or 3 times.
-
Hubby bought 1 ticket and didn't have a single number.
One of the news stations said if she spends $1 million a month, she'll be good for 28 years. If she makes the right financial decisions, her money will would last through more than 4 generations.
I really feel sorry for her. She's in for a lot of problems down the road with neighbors, so-called friends and her own relatives.
I wouldn't want that headache and neither would hubby. We'd be fine with a few thousand but it will probably never happen. :( :)
-
I am still holding out hope as I haven't checked my numbers yet. I really would have to think of lots of creative ways to share that much money if I won. WHEW that is an obscene amount of money LOL
-
She is going to have headaches along with her winnings
-
yes she will have kin crawling out the wood work so to speak
-
Wish that was me :dog:
-
We didn't have even one of the winning numbers lol. Sure wish we had though. I did win $10 on a mega million quick pick last week and I was tickled about that little bit.
-
I can't even comprehend that kind of money. Think of all the good you could do with that amount and still have plenty to spend on yourself. Way to go to the lucky winners! I wonder if they were using the law of attraction to pick their winning numbers!
-
I'm not sure I would want to be her right now. Good luck to her and her family !!
-
I didn't play at all, but I am going to start playing regularly. we waste money all the time, I think it is worth it to use one dollar to try your luck. You never know.

I believe they are 2 dollars now...good luck !!
-
That is just ridiculous tons of money. Did they find the winner? That person must be really happy that all the hard work of buying the tickets day in and out has finally paid off.
-
I'm glad the winner said she is going to give a bunch to charity. It is only right that is an absurd amount of cash haha.
-
YEs I would not be here if I had won, better luck next time.
-
Before that lady showed herself to the public she should of gotten a good accountant, lawyer, and about 12 body guards plus it might be wise to move, she put herself and her family in such potential danger with that amount of money she has 8)
-
I'm so jealous, I should have bought a ticket!
-
She is going to have headaches along with her winnings
I would like to try the headaches having that kind of money versus the headaches I got from having hardly none! Yes, let me try to contend with the issues of not having to worry about paying everyday bills and having to manage my many investments and contributions as well as people who think they know me versus worrying about which bills I need to pay when and if a single illness/old age will knock me into complete poverty.

i dident get one number eithor..... :(

I would try to maintain my anonymity if I came into that much money.
