That is a very nice Christmas present, they seemed to love it. I had one when I was young, and I forgot I had one with pedals very slow but cool. Have a happy Little Red Wagon Day! Have a gr8 day. :present:

I gave my grandson when he was one a plastic red wagon that he could pull behind him and he loved it. For Christmas that year my daughter and son-in-law gave my grandson a real red wagon and have taken him for rides. He is two years old now.

Yes! They were awesome & durable.
What ever happened to them? They are probably plastic now... I never see children outside playing, so what would they do with it.
-
Both of my boys had the red wagons when they were small, and then because we were farmers both of them had the John Deer riding trikes with the green wagons. they spent hours outside playing with both and then would take their red wagons out to the garden area with me and pull the veggies back for me. they thought they were a big help and they were. But I still ended up carrying the bushel baskets back as they were too heavy at first.

I remember having a wagon as I was younger. Now days I don't have a wagon, and I haven't got a wagon for a child. I think a lot of kids at a certain age would love a wagon! :)

The little red wagon is certainly a blast from the past. But the thing is, just like many other toys from yesteryear, the little red wagon is still a great gift for a child! They can be pulled while sitting on it. They can load it up with stuff and pull it themselves. It's just one of those toys from the past that are actually practical and fun! :present:

we had one.
we used to pretend it as a car.
we flipped the handle back and had one or some of the neighborhood children push us.
we took turns.
the children on our block all played together.
this reminds me:
we shared our toys and games.
we had parties around our pool.
our pool was square and low, enough to wade in.
our pool had 4 seats, one in each corner.

Yep, I had a radio flyer. My younger brother had one as well.

I loved my lil red wagon as a child. Have no idea what happened to it.
I have the red wagon that was my grand-daughters, saved it from being tossed out when her parents moved.
I use it as an "end table" in my living room, and have a taller table lamp sitting in it by my recliner.
I love it.

We still have our red Radio Flyer wagon in the garage. When I had only two kids I used it a lot.
I would put one kid in the wagon and the other in a bicycle seat. I attached the wagon tongue to my bike and and I would ride to the grocery store pulling the wagon.

No I never had a red wagon as a child or given one to a child
-
I had one when I was little. I used to go down the hill and steer it like a car. It was always really fun.

I remember there being a red wagon in the garage but being the last of 5 children it was more like a rust colored wagon by the time I got to use it. I do remember sitting in it a couple of times and remember how I had to beg and beg someone to take me for a ride in it.... than once I was on the go it was so uncomfortable.

Didn't know there was such a thing as little red wagon day. Happy happy to you then! My son had one...and when I started keeping my nephews boys, I made sure they had a radio flyer wagon. They all loved them!

We have one, when we go to the zoo or any other place with a lot of walking I take it along. We put our snacks, jackets etc in it and sometimes tired kids!

Yep We had one when we were children, seems like it was a staple of the early 70's
