It can be a remake of an old classic or any holiday song! :)

Drummer Boy

Please come home for Christmas. Sung by many and I like almost all of them. Drummer boy was sung by a college orchestra in church last week and they did a great job.

Drummer Boy
That is one of my favorites. I like so many that it's hard to choose one. I like Silent Night.
-
Btw my favorite is Christmas cannon by trans Siberian orchestra. It is an amazing one!
-
I really like Straight No Chaser's version of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." It is such a funny mashup of different Christmas songs.
-
I’ll be home for Christmas and Silent Night.
-
"O Holy Night".. but always loved the old carols.
We used to make ornaments for a giant tree in our school gym, and each class sung a specific Christmas song or carol, and hung up their ornaments.....yep in public school.
When life made more sense.

I love Christmas songs, so I have way too many favorites, 2 pretty ones I like are Belleau Wood AND The Gift both by Garth Brooks
I also like Last Christmas, which everyone has done
I like Holly Jolly Christmas, Silent Night, Winter Wonderland

O Holy night, Blue Christmas, Winter Wonderland, I'll Be Home for Christmas, White Christmas by Bing Crosby, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire by Nat King Cole, Li'l Drummer Boy, and White Christmas by Bing Crosby (is that the name?). I also love Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. ;) Oh, and love the Transiberian Orchestra's rendition of the classical. A very old one that I haven't heard in years was I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and there was one sung by Bernda Lee that I liked. Another one is Pretty Ribbons.
I don't like Silent Night, Joy to the World, and a couple more whose names escape me at the moment because they remind me of elementary school and were sung every day. I really do like the old songs that I grew up with and have such wonderful memories of those times.

The Twelve Days of Christmas.

I have a lot of favorite Christmas songs. One of my favorites is "Oh Holy Night" I sing in the choir at church and one year for the Christmas Cantata I sang part of this as a solo.
-
O Holy Night is my favorite religious carol. Little Saint Nick by the Beach Boys is probably my favorite non religious one.
-
My favorite Christmas song has to be a tie between Little Drummer Boy and O Holy Night. I also like Merry Christmas, Darling by Karen Carpenter (Yes, I'm old). O Come, Emmanuel is right up there, too! :peace:
-
My favorite Christmas songs are Jingle Bell, Silent Night, and Oh Holy Night.
-
mine is a tie between Lil Drummer Boy and Rockin Around the Christmas Tree :snowman: :snowman:

So many greats to sing true or modify(jingle bells, drummer boy, grandma got run over by a reindeer...) I sing to my lil cats missy and sissy all the time and now it's Jingle cats

I don't think you can beat "O Holy Night" for the beauty, wonder, and meaning of the Christmas season. What a gorgeous, moving song. As for secular songs, I really like "All I want for Christmas is you," but there are several that are high up on my list!

Do they know its Christmas - Band Aid. If I remember correctly the proceeds from the song went to the folks starving in Africa. Great song and great cause.

Christmas is the time to say "I love you" by Billy Squire
Twelve days of Christmas - John Denver and the muppets
White Christmas - Bing Crosby

There are so many -- as named in this thread -- that it's difficult to name a favorite. In fact, some years I find a few that I really enjoy more than the others; soon enough I'll hear enough of those that I find another one or two that take their place like Mariah Carey's version of All I Want for Christmas is You. Right now I'm eager to hear Wizards in Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It gets me moving {like those trees in the YouTube videos} and puts me in the fast lane for the holiday season.

My favorite is '' This Christmas". I think no matter what is going on every Christmas is worth celebrating and will be memorable. That song always cheer me up. " All I want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey is one of my favorites too.
-
I absolutely love The Twelve Days of Christmas and The Drummer Boy too. I've head them both over and over again every year since I was a little girl (and that's a lot of years!) and I still never get sick of listening to them.
-
Oh Holy Night is by far and definitely my favorite spiritual or spiritually based Christmas song. I would say that Please come home for Christmas would be my favorite secular Christmas song.
-
I have a lot of favorite Christmas songs. Let's see though, I like Jingle Bell Rock. I like White Christmas. And, Silent Night, that's one of my favorites too.
