Anyone come up with goals/resolutions yet?
-
Last year I said I was going to make the fusioncash forum bonus all 12 months in 2017. I made 11 of 12 (if I make December :)) I am going for 12/12 in 2018. I also have a few other things like saving more money and exercising on the list.
-
My goals are pretty much the same. Make more money.
-
I stopped making goals at the beginning of the year. But I hope that I can save more money, get a better job, get healthier and have a great year.

I do not make resolutions. That is a waste of time. Most people break them by the 2nd day of the year anyway. There are things I want to accomplish in the coming months but not because it is a new year.
-
My goal is to have my student loans paid. But aside from money goals... a friend of mine made a resolution to see more entertainment. Once a month he would go to a concert when he could afford. I thought that was fun to make the goals more fun rather hampering.
-
I don't really make goals for the new year either, but I will graduate from college next year so I hope to get a better position at work and I want to do more things for myself next year.
-
To enjoy every moment with loved ones

I have a goal for 2018 to lose weight and get my health under better control. Of course, I have that resolution every year, so we'll see how it goes! I also want to do more work at home type of stuff on the Internet. I'm just a little picky about what I'm willing to do, though. :)

1. to get a 2nd car
2. move to a bigger place.
3. working on improving credit
4. work on better health.
5. try to save money
6. conceive baby #3
and I'm sure I have other goals.
But in the end as long as next year is better than this year ill be happy

No goals but to make 2018 a great year

Good health, happiness, and make money.

I always have an extensive list of goals, that are set quite high, and manage to hit the large percentage of them and come with single percentage points if missed. For instance, I set the goal for a new income stream at fifteen hundred dollars but on Saturday I will be closing out with fourteen hundred, fifty seven dollars and twenty two cents which puts me short by less than three percent. This is somewhat okay because I had set this particular goal at a fifteen percent increase. I have to reduce my overall financial goal due to some restrictions related to the new tax bill but am scrambling to realign current income and/or find replacement income. I just finished speaking to a friend that has steered me to a resource that could accomplish this, I have wanted to do for some time, and may be legally less taxable. To take advantage I will need to get in better shape and take roughly two hundred hours of classes. Good luck to all of you!

My goal for 2018 is to not procrastinate as much as I did in 2017.
-
I try not to set goals. It tends to ruin whatever the goal is set it. For example, if I set a goal to loose 20lbs then exercising becomes a hassle and frustrating because I haven't lost my intended weight. If I just exercising without setting a weight limit then I can just freely exercising and just feel good about being healthy rather than counting what I've lost. In the long run I'll loose the weight without worrying about loosing the weight.
-
Aside from the obvious "lose a few pounds", I'm going to focus of not bringing stress onto myself.
-
Same goals and wishes. However, this year I want to thank God more for all he has provided to us - especially after the hurricane. :angel12:

Eat better exercise save money the usual stuff. Maybe stay curious read more .
-
Just to be happier.
-
Get everything done in our house this year and hope my husband cleans out the garage and shed.
-
yes lose some weight,,,lol ;D
-
I just want to do my best at everything that I do. I want to be more positive and stop wasting so much time worrying.
-
1. Try not to be late for family events/dinners
2. Better health - eating more fruits and veggies
3. Savings more money
-
So many goals for 2018 I have!
Work hard towards your goals and resolutions!
-
I stopped making resolutions years ago when I failed to meet them every year. To me, it's just another year.
-
My only plan for 2018 is to lose weight
-
To declutter and purge a bit more. Whether it be my mind, my health (eating better) or my closet!
-
5. try to save money
6. conceive baby #3
^^^ I think goal #6 would necessarily cancel out or drastically reduce the effectiveness of goal #5 ;)
My only realistic goal for 2018 is to get to 2019. I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I saw a post recently from a cousin on Facebook that I can identify with. "My 2017 resolution was to lose 10 pounds. Only 15 more to go!"
-
My goals are to get back to eating from a meal plan to stay healthy.... and to reach out to people I haven't seen in forever.
-
1. To pay down student loan debt (pay down at least $10,000 by the end of the year).
2. To lose weight (about 10 - 15 pounds)
3. To be more positive and to surround myself with more positive people.
4. To complete my final graduate degree! So close yet so far at the same time. :(
I am sure there are more improvements to be made in my life, but those are the main four.
-
my main goal is to continue losing weight. I'm on a roll and I'm not stopping at all. :)
-
No goals, but taking my every day one at a time.
-
Personal goals for my family, and also take off 15 or 20 lbs.
Move into a safer place. Wow, that would be super.

I have the same two resolutions I have every year: to lose weight and to run at least 12-15 miles a week. I do pretty much stick to the second one but I never seem to accomplish the first one at all.
-
I will no longer allow myself to cry over the loss of my mother who died 4 years ago. I miss her so much, but I will shed no more tears. I will only smile at the memories I have. I'm also going to make a will, buy a new bed, go the the gym 4 days a week, and paint my living room.
-
I stop making resolutions, but my goal this year is to just live for today because tomorrow is not promise to anyone, by that is stop planning and just do it, and also to put more faith in God and not man. Believe it and receive it.
-
Good point; that's why I think it's better to form habits that will help achieve the goal and to not wait until Jan 1st to start.
