If you look at the stats for posts in these threads there are almost half a million members on this site but it seems like there are only like 30 or so that post in the forums. Or it seems to me it is just the same people who post all the time. Unless different areas talk to different people? I just found that odd.

I belong to a lot of forums for outdoors and shooting....always big numbers but only a few actually post...most are lurkers or just lost interest or even died.
A couple forums I belong to will delete membership after any inactivity after a couple years.

Died? well that is kind of sad. lol I have a a referral of mine and she does stuff on here every now and then but was never interested in posting. I like the $3 but I also like talking to people. I just thought it was funny the membership is that high and so few post. I guess that is a good thing.

I do notice the same names on a lot of the boards. Occasionally I will see a few new names, but I agree it seems like a lot of the same people.

Angie49 who was a almost every day poster vanished .... she had been battling cancer so ?? I look forward to the posts here be them good (happy) or sad , :rose: :heart: :rose:

Definitely seems like a lot. That part is surprisingly. Though I know I lot of people just prefer to lurk. Not everyone comes to FC regularly either.

That is a lot of members. You are right though, there aren't many that post here.

I agree, it seems like the same people post a lot. Occasionally I see a different person posting often, the all of a sudden they seem to stop. I love talking to and reading posts and I do like the $3.00.

Most of these people leave before they make the first cashout. They are like kids who want the money before they do something. So they get bored and quit.

I didn't get paid for my January posts and I was very upset about that. That could discourage other people, but it motivated me to post a lot more in February. That's one reason not everyone who uses FC uses the forums.
Other reasons? Some people don't like to write, some don't know about the forum posting bonus yet, some don't have time to post and use only the quick videos and surveys.
It's also true that some members are inactive and that different forums talk to different people.
You'll be seeing a lot of my posts this month :) I guess you can look forward to it :)

I got bored with surveys and videos only - the forums keep FC interesting! I never thought about quitting, as I saw that your balance increases slowly but steadily every time you visit the website, even you only click on a few things each day. Now that I'm within a few dollars of cashing out, it definitely makes no sense to quit now! After I cash out, I'll probably keep working here; I'm sure many people leave after the first cash out.
The $5 sign-up bonus is very generous and it motivated me to get $20 more in order to reach $25. I'll be a lot harder to cash out without that bonus, but I'm hoping to make at least $5 from my referrals.

I enjoy the forum because sometimes people have very interesting topics. People have different reasons for using the forum just like everything we do in life.

Perhaps they are not on FC often or the forum may not be something that they spend a lot of time one, I think everyone probably finds what works best for them and put more time there; I like the forum it is indeed a learning tool.

I enjoy the forum because sometimes people have very interesting topics. People have different reasons for using the forum just like everything we do in life.
I have got some good advice at times. Sometimes people know how to do something and can help you fix a problem or issue of some sort. You can also ask about issues on here without having to submit a support ticket.

I don't even remember where I saw that. It was on this site. It just surprised me. I also wonder about people from other countries. Maybe they have their own forums?

I've been here for a long time and I just started to post regularly on the forums. The fact is we all work and many people don't have the time to post. Many times I start strong and post a couple of my two cents and then for some reason I lose track and don't post. Last month is the last time I will miss a post for 2018 as I have been healing from a head injury. To the OP, I believe that is the case. I am only here a few days per month, but I notice some of the same contributory posters.

I do notice that a lot of the same members post quite often. I do try to get my 30 in every month but miss a few here and there. I enjoy reading what everyone has to say about some subjects more than others but I generally read quite a few more than the number I actually post on.

I enjoy reading and sometimes posting and I do like the $3.00 we get each month. Sometimes I may not post much other days if things are interesting I post more. Just wish I was on line more. But this past week I was just too darn sick to care about being on the computer let alone anything else. Darn flu was rough. I had a flu shot and the doctor said it helped keep it from being a lot worse then what it was. Just hop I don't catch it again.

I generally try to get my 30 posts a month. But I didn't always. I'm thinking most people don't realize how really easy it is to get to 30 posts if they just do a couple a day. It really doesn't take as long as they may think it does.

I had no idea there were so many members! 487,064 is lot of people!
I enjoy stopping at the forum and getting a few posts done each day while the videos are playing.

Like most people, once I reach 30 posts for the month, I too stop posting. It can be really time consuming and better to spend my time doing something else.

There could be members that are inactive. I doubt anyone ever deactivates their account when they stop using FC.
