I just got my driver's license renewed and signed up to be one. My new license shows that I am one. I figure that someone may as well benefit as I am not going to need anything in my body any longer. If I could help someone in such a way, that would be like bequeathing a legacy.
-
No,i am not,but i don't think my organs can help anybody the way they are now.
-
I want to be a organ donor but I have autoimmune disease (lupus) and was told I cannot give organs or blood.
For those of you that are not sure about organ donation you need to think about how many lives you can save. Thousands of people die each day waiting on organ. When you die your organs go with you but you do not need them in the next life. So why not donate them to keep someone alive.

I eat liver weekly but they're not getting mine ever !! Really want to be intact when I'm put to rest.
-
I have a Hammond id like to get rid of.
-
I'm an organ donor. I don't know if ultimately that will ever help someone, but I like the idea. Those parts won't be doing me any good any more then. It's a pretty personal decision though. I understand others may not be comfortable with it.
-
Yes.
-
Its nice to think that after my soul has left my body my organs may help someone. Another reason to keep living a healthy lifestyle.
-
I do have organ donation on my drivers license but I don’t ever remember telling them that I was okay with that I just have to figure out what’s right for me before I pass away
-
Here's a thought, why don't you ppl sell your extra organs for real money, you women can also sell your eggs,be surrogates.....I'm sure it's better money than Fusion.
-
Iam proud to be an organ donor, just hope they are able to use something at my age!
-
" I have a really big organ !!!!! " Sylvester Stallone in Rhinestone
-
Yes I am been one for years.
-
I was one for years, but had to change when I was diagnosed with cancer. After my chemo and radiation I am now taking a oral chemo, which stops me from being an organ donor or giving blood.
-
I am not an organ donor.
-
I think it is very commendable that you have declared yourself an organ donor. I would very much like to do that myself but I am already too old to be able to provide any organs that would be of much use to anyone else.
-
Easy question. Yes, yes I am.
-
I have a Hammond id like to get rid of.
Hitch is real funny! What a stinker!!

I only have a piano and a guitar.

I know many people who have been saved by organ donations and I would like to help someone once Im not using them anymore

I currently am not but when I get my license renewed I think I will do it.
-
no but i am thinking about it,,,, ??? ???
-
Yes, I have been an organ donor for many years. I hope there are still enough body parts in good enough shape for someone else to use when I get through with them.
-
I used to be but when I got real sick with my gall bladder and had to be in the hospital for a while, I some how ended up with Hep c. although it is under control and it can flare up at any time. Sure would not want any one to get it from me. Never again will go to a hospital that does know what the heck is around there. Yes it was small what we call a band aid station and wasn't as clean as it should have been. They have been down graded a lot and almost lost their license to be a hospital. Not just me but several people came down with it.

Yes I am. You are never to old to become an organ donor, it id really amazing all they can do, and you do not need it anymore. :present: :present: :present:
-
No, I'm not an organ donor.
-
I am an organ donor. Any part that is needed and usable is available once I am dead. Bones, eyes, all organs.
I would like an open casket for viewing so the family can have closure and "say good-bye". After that, I would like to be cremated.
-
When I renewed my license a few years ago I signed up to be an organ donor. If something were to happen and my organs are still healthy I don't see why they should go to waste.
-
I am. If my organs are in good shape when I pass and they can help someone else, then why not?
-
yes i believe if i can help someone that is important
-
This is true.

I don't donate because when I die my whole body will be donated to the nearest medical hospital for med students to use in their studies.
-
I think I am. Better to be able to help someone with parts I'm not going to be using anymore.
-
No, I am not. Wish that I would have good organs to donate. However I have issues with all.
-
Yes Have been for years. I think every one should be,, there are so many people out thee that need help these days. If I can help just one person,,,, It would be amazing
-
Yes, I am. I figure, I'll be dead and want to be cremated anyway, so what use do I have for my organs. Pay it forward.
-
I am not, but the older I get the more I think about becoming one
-
no i am not and have been told with my lupus and MS i can not be --- i would have loved to have been to help people
-
Myself, my husband and son are all organ donors. No point trying to keep it...won't need them after we are dead.
-
No, I am not, and never have. It is more on religious grounds for me.
-
I am not an organ donor, but my family knows if something happens they have the right to do whatever is needed even though I haven't given prior authorization.
-
I wasn't until recently when I got my license renewed. I am 33 and after a heart attack at 28 I realize that any day could be my last. So I stopped putting it off and went ahead and did it.
-
No I'm not. I don't that I have any organs that someone else could use. I have bad eyes, a fatty liver and probably have some kind of heart trouble.
-
I am! If I can help a few people when I'm gone, then so be it.
-
Yes I absolutely am!
-
Yes, I have signed up to be one!
-
I want to be a organ donor but I have autoimmune disease (lupus) and was told I cannot give organs or blood.
Hmmm...I didn't know that. I'm an organ donor with lupus.
-
I think it is not a good idea.
-
I'm sorry you can't donate. I hadn't heard that either.
-
Yes. Have been since I first started getting an ID.
-
Yes I am and have been for years. My father was the recipient of a heart from someone which extended his life so we could enjoy him for 11 more years.
I feel it is my duty to repay the favor that someone did for our family.
-
Hi,
A close friend passed while waiting for a new kidney. He was at the top of the waiting list. Yes, I am an organ donor.
-
no havent signed up yet
-
I switched to be an organ donor the last time I renewed my driver's license. Though theoretically it will be a while before that ever is utilized.
