Me and my boyfriend when to a country bar the other day for his birthday.
Then me and my co worker were talking and she said she would never go there she don't like country.
I come home to tell my boyfriend and hes like in shock that she don't like country and says shes a very rare person.
So the question is how many people here don't like country music?

There is some country music i like and some I don't.... I'm not a fan of *bleep* Nelson, or Dolly, But love George Streight , and Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Clint Black and many others.

I'm down with Line dancing,Rhinestone Cowboy ,Skyrnrd,Cash,Daniels and the rest but not today's crap country,it's not fun,not interesting,not unique.

I am not a country music fan either. But there are some who sound pretty nice.

I would much rather listen to country or maybe a little country pop if it is good. But the rap music is for the birds to be chased away with. Can't stand it, nothing but sex , and curse words. But Gospel is my all time favorite. I think Elvis had some of the best songs ever.

I love most all types of music but opera and rap. Country music is really pleasing because most of the songs tell a story.

I generally enjoy it, but some of it becomes repetitive

There are so few Country Music that I enjoy but its really a small amount so I get what she meant.

I don't particularly care for country music myself either, but it's not as bad as some music, tolerable, I'd say, unless it's super cry-in-my-beer fare. Some country music where it's merged more with rock is okay, but not still not something I would seek out on my own.

I am still getting used to it!

I can listen to almost anything
I like artists from each genre.
I am pretty flexible I usually listen to whatever the other person is listening too.

I rarely listen to country music. I like it but my husband doesn't so we always listen to rock.

Is my absolute favorite but never get to listen to when my husband is around as he hates it

I used to love country music in general. However, now at 75, I really don't "do music" much.
However, "Country Roads", by John Denver, still brings tears to my eyes. My old precious gram was a hillbilly from West Virginia.
I loved "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma" also.
My son and I loved "Brother Love Salvation Show" by Neil Diamond.
And "Elvira" (was this country? Not sure.)
Would love to hear any of them again.

My family and I love country. My kids' friends ALL hate country. I don't get it, either.

Love country music, makes me feel calm and sleep good.

I do like country music, but I wouldn't say anyone is rare for not liking any specific genre of music. People have different taste. That's what makes the world go around.

I’m not a huge fan of country music. I can listen to it, but it’s never my first choice of music.

I am NOT a country music fan. Definitely not my type of music. Peoples taste in music also kinda depends on where people grew up, and what kind of music people around them listened to. BUT let me say this music, like math is universal. Is the same topics and emotions just set over different beats rhythms and chords. :peace: :peace: :heart:

I love country, I love just abut all types of music. Some to dance to work out to I even use some to clean to!

country is music with out borders. i love it '

No one I know likes it and that includes my mom, my dad and my girlfriend. I guess the old stuff might have its moment but the stuff from the last 20 years is not really country music. It is just pop music.

I really don't like it. I grew up in the midwest though and knew a lot of people who did.

I like some of it and "meh" about some of it.

She is not a rare person. Some people like country and some people like rock. And usually if somebody likes something different then the person who likes something different gets made fun of. I don't listen to much of anything lately but have always been a fan of country among some other stuff. And I usually get made fun of because most people listen to the trash rock that nobody can even understand what they are saying.
