Does anyone have any suggestions on how to save on prescriptions even when you have insurance.

Sometimes they charge less if you get them by mail. And some pharmacies offer discounts on prescriptions. Mine does.  :highfive:

Prescription drugs are such a rip-off. Just thought I'd add that thought to the mix.

Yes I get stuff every week about getting them through the mail.  Get samples from your doctor.  Some drug manufactures offer coupons or discounts.  Order them from overseas.  Check out alldaychemist.com

I use generic and mail order (90 day supply) and that does help.  However there is 1 medicine I take that is very expensive and not available generic.  Fortunately I was just approved for that medicine to be free for the rest of the year by the drug company.  Hopefully I'll be approved again for next year otherwise I'd have to stop taking it as I cannot afford it on S.S.   Good luck to you!
