I need to move my frogs once in awhile, and learned that (one) of their getaway defenses is to make themselves heavy and their anchor is located at their lungs front legs, I tried to find out what this is called but no information I thought I would find infor since they have been dissected for many years. I did learn that they take in oxygen through their skin oxygen goes right to the bloodstream while underwater, the lung is for when they go out of water only, well that is why I can't hold my breath long enough until the frog goes up to surface, their little lungs were winning mine. I always had the air pump on for them. Does anyone know what the heavy inside them called? It helps with them to stay on the bottom, and the tadpoles were able to park on the bottom of the tank. Have a gr8 and Happy Frog Day! :present:

It is crazy how they have a day for everything. I went to this frog exhibit once that had some cool looking frogs. Some of the frogs had real bright colored skin that looked cool but they are very poisonous.
