Makes you wonder what goes on in peoples heads... why not give it up to a good family that wants a baby! Leave it in the woods, they need to be found and tied to a tree for a few night out in the bushes . NAKED :( :( :( no bug spray!

Think I saw this on facebook or a story of a small baby not able to walk yet had crawled away. The father was on Crack. Luckily the police found him.

That is such a startling story, but it's great to have some good news. That is one lucky lucky little child. I hope for the best for that little one and that the worst thing that ever will happen to them is now behind them.

I saw this on the news at 4:00 this morning. They searched all night. They hadn't said that the little boy had been found. So glad he has been!

I had not heard this story either. I am so glad the young one year old was found:
A one-year-old boy has been found safe in the Oregon woods after his father abandoned him for more than six hours.
Bradley Thomas was discovered by police covered in dirt, naked and alone on Thursday after a search involving drones, helicopters and riders on horseback.
Authorities said that the boy's father Brandon M Blouin, 25, has been booked into the Deschutes County Jail on multiple charges including first-degree criminal mistreatment, second-degree child neglect, third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Blouin, from Ohio, told police that he left his son to look for the boy's mother, but they suspect the father was on drugs when he abandoned Bradley in the forest.
Authorities say someone called around 6.15am on Thursday when Blouin came out of the woods and onto a strangers's property.
The witness said Bouin asked them to call 911.
The father told police that he had been staying in an SUV with his son and the boy's 18-year-old mother.
He added that the SUV was parked on the forest land and the mother left Bradley with Blouin.
The Sherrif's office said that when she did not immediately return, Blouin told them that he took the baby to go looking for his mother.
At one point he confessed to putting the one-year-old down and walking away.
Detective Doug Jackson finally found Bradley lying naked in dirt around 12.10pm one mile from where Blouin's SUV was parked.
He was found in the area of Sholes Road and Tekampe Road, in southeast Bend.
The detective who found the boy wrapped him in a sheriff officer's jacket to keep him warm and he was taken to a hospital in Bend for evaluations.
The sheriff's office held a donation for Bradley for new or lightly uses items such as clothes, toys and blankets.
Donations poured in as the office received donations from nearly a dozen of people.
KTVZ reports that toys, blankets, shows, clothing and diapers were dropped off on Friday at the office.

Babies aren't asked to be born, so they don't have a say so in their just beginning lives. Mothers who get pregnant, this message is for you. If you do something as horrific as to put your innocent baby out in the woods where things can harm or God forbid Kill, you don't deserve to have life, a baby can't fend for itself, a baby is helpless, it deserves to have someone who will protect them, love them, care for them, nurture them, guide them, give them everything that God has for them, being a parent is a Joy, a privilege, but most of all its a love that surpasses everything. Don't bring a child into this world if you aren't Woman enough to care for it. There are Women out there in this world who can't have children and want more than anything to have some, and you just put God's gift to you and leave it out in the woods, you don't deserve to have that little one in your life. So whatever they do to you, you will get hundredfold.

What a horrible thing to put a child through!! The parents should both be severely punished for what they've done to a helpless child! Infuriates me to no end when parents abuse children or old folks!

I live here in Oregon. I was watching the local news and saw this story. I'm in Portland and Bend is a ways away from me but, I am glad baby is alright.

What an awful event. It's so sad how people use drugs. The drugs become a priority to and all sense of responsibility, humanity and down right common senses. For the life of me I can not understand how people drop cats and dogs off in the wilderness when they can't take care of em' - - - to do that with a child is so much worse and heartbreaking for me.

I'm glad the baby came out ok. It just breaks my heart when there are so many people out there that can't have children, like my sister-in-law whom had breast cancer, and those that have kids abandon them or worse, kill them.

Well thank God the baby was okay, nice to hear the story end well. I don't know what is the matter with people.

I just can't understand how or why some one would treat a child like this. If a person does not want a baby all they have to do is take it to the hospital and turn he/she over to them. But to put id down in the woods or somewhere like it can defend for itself is terrible. I hope the parents get good jail time and help. In fact they should never be able to have another one. Pray the baby goes to a good , loving home.

I realize that kids can get away faster than you think, but it amazes me how people lose track of a kid, especially outside. Like, lock the kid indoors. Yeah, they could still get hurt inside, but then they aren't going to be run over by a car or something.

Thank God the baby was found safe it could have been a lot worse.
