Do you have a bucket list ? I didn't but now i do... What's the very first thing you'd do on your list if you could ! Mine is to go hunting with a guide and fishing in Alaska for a month, and pan for gold while i was there as well. 8) 8) 8)

Alaska would be cool but I'd love to move to Arizona and see New Mexico and West Texas area....get an old Jeep and a dusty cowboy hat and travel around and see the sights....

How come it's never a pail ?
I'm not sure why, but it's a darn good question ?? ??? ??? ???

Because its called "Kicking the bucket"...therefore its what you want to do before you die...its not "Kicking the pail"... ::) ;)

I don't have a legit bucket list - I have to laugh though my grade-school aged daughter indicated she was making a summer bucket list. I thought that was a great idea. I mean time flies by and for me if I don't make a list I don't do things... just put em' off. So why not create a list of fun things to do during the summer.

I don't have a bucket list, but maybe I should create one.

Getting in a vehicle and travel the country, go wherever we want, do whatever we want. Of course have enough money to do it.

I have a bucket list of lots of places in the world I want to see before I hit the bucket. Starting with the Patagonia area of Chile where I would love to go hiking to see all the beautiful natural sights like spectacular waterfalls and gorgeous mountains there.

I think JW has a interesting point, and i'm changing my to pail list! I think also a bucket is a larger container , like ice cream you get a pail never a bucket , my list is short so i don't really need a bucket. This was an epiphany ! Thanks JW

Never thought of that...mines small too (other than winning the lottery) :turkey:

I believe a bucket list is an important part of life. As others have said, life whizzes by so fast. I started making a list when I was in my 20s (I just didn't know it was called a "bucket" list, which makes sense).
I started to work on it early and I'm so glad I did, but one thing I was steadfast about -- paying off that ridiculous 30-year mortgage!

Winning the lottery ? Not sure if that counts ? Like my mom always said she wanted to win the powerball, funny she never got tickets till it was huge. She also clobbered me a good one when i spent hours with a exacto knife making a fake winning ticket to show her... had her really going for a while. And the pail epiphany , i figured you'd as my true hair color !! ;D ;) ;D
-
I figured its brown...not a lot of women dye their blonde hair brown...seems like women want to be blondes without the ditzyness... ;)

Its or should i say was brown, gets really light in the summer being a farm girl, i love big equipment so i was always out on the tractor, love cutting hay ! Now its pretty much gray but a neat kind like some one paid a pile to have it done this way. I'm old you know !

I wouldn't waste my time with the lottery (although I have some respect for those multiple lottery winners who turn it around and sell their 'secrets'?). With all the online information today, you can make money at the track using a disciplined approach -- and never get too high or too low. With so little surveys available today, that's where I am headed now with my goal in mind.

I never had a bucket list. I just do things. If I had a bucket list I would have my place to go is italy. I know my grandparents were bore there and I would want to see the area where they were born and grew up :)

I haven't been to track in years.
Was working 2nd shift and a "friend" of mine was going to the track...looked at the paper with the races in it...saw a horse named "Shyawaynapalm"...digged the name so gave my "friend" 5 bucks and told him to place a bet for me on that horse to win...think odds were 50:1.
Next day checked the paper...horse won...no "friend" for 2 days.
When I finally saw him he said "Oh, I didn't make it to the track" and gave me my 5 bucks back.
About a year later another guy who knew him told me he HAD gone to the track, placed the bet and kept the money...that guy hasn't been my "friend" in years now... :turkey: :bad:

Yours is a sad "lesson learned" story, 2nd Amendment JOE, with a lot of mistakes -- no, don't bet a name for crying out loud and don't bet a win ticket at 50-1 odds. Sorry, but tough love here! I occasionally give out information so you can make up your mind and make your own bet, but I'm not perfect. I almost did this last Friday evening -- Prairie Meadows 7th race #2 (and don't bet her to win!). You would have made ROI -- it was her first stake race and she did not disappoint. It was as 'sure' a bet as I could have hoped since I know her {I invested small sum in her mom in 2010}. I have discovered that I could listen to the race feed in the background while doing surveys -- that information keeps me up on things I already know are happening -- so I can take it to the bank (literally, the automated mutuel machine works like an ATM to me -- sometimes I deposit money, but much more often I'm withdrawing it). It takes discipline, just like GPT sites do.

Go to White Sands New Mexico. I really like site seeing and that is something I would really like to do. I am sure I will do it one of these days. :cat:
