I saw something about this. Some stupid libtard trying to hang a sign saying to abolish ICE. I can't comprehend the stupidity of people these days. Most of the ones who want to let all the illegals just flock across the boarder are welfare bums who aren't support themselves anyway. The working Americans can't afford to support any more than we already are. The entire world can't move to the United States. There isn't room. Fight back and make your own country a better place. Instead of sneaking in to the US and expecting a free ride!
They should have shot her.

I heard on the news it was a protest. Then all the visitors had to leave and they closed it down for safety reasons. 1- they should refund everyone who was there and 2- charge her to the fullest extent of the law.I don't want to hear she has issues. She knew what she was doing. :peace:

I absolutely love watching people do crazy stuff in NYC like climb up the outside of buildings and sit on the Statue of Liberty, etc. I'm usually not at all moved by whatever belief they are trying to espouse but am absolutely fascinated that they can bypass security altogether to do these things.

lol no it is exactly what needs to happen. It would stop this nonsense. It's funny because it is the previous president who is the one who had the kids in cages. NO ONE had a problem with it when he done it. But they bring up these old pictures are scream Trump is the one behind that and the world falls apart until it is proven that Trump was not the one who had them put in the "cages" then it just quietly slips in to the back ground.
I cannot comprehend how anyone can be so stupid as to think we need to throw away all the laws and let everybody do whatever they want. Well FYI all the bums mooching off the government are gonna starve because if we all do whatever we want I for one and not going to continue to pay taxes and have money drafted out of my check and given to some piece of trash that refuses to work!

I totally agree with you on all points except "they should have shot her." That's extreme. Of course, she'll probably be let off with a slap on the wrist. The extreme left wants everyone believe that eliminating ICE will solve all the problems. Too bad they don't think of the consequences of doing it. They are part of our security.
Let's eliminate ICE when we no longer have a problem with illegal immigration. :)

And FYI there is a place where these idiots do not have to worry about being separated from their children. It is called Mexico. When you illegally sneak in to another country you are not a citizen of you deserve what ever happens to you up to and including being shot dead right there on the spot!

Yes shooting her would be extreme. But you know what - these other countries - they do just that. It's like in the middle eastern countries if you get caught shop lifting the first offense they cut your hand off. Second offense they cut your other hand off. Third offense off with your head. You can't steal if you are dead. And before somebody tries to start an argument this info comes straight from a man who was working here in the US that was from one of these middle eastern countries. He had 2 young sons and he said he was moving back to his home country because he didn't want them raised here in the US where you turn out to be a snot nosed brat thinking you can do whatever you want. And that was years ago. I could only imagine what he thinks about how it is here now.
Oh and they don't have a problem with people stealing in his country. Because they know there is swift and for sure punishment.

My understanding she herself was an immigrant. We take her in, and she becomes a public nuisance. She put the cops at risk, ruined the holiday for the families who wanted to see our iconic statue....just to get attention.
That did nothing whatsoever to help kids at the border, just made these protestors look stupid.
Trump did not do this. Bush/Obama did the mess up at the border.

That was definitely not the smartest way to protest, but I have to admit, it sure did get her noticed. I'm glad no one, including her, was hurt during this stunt. She better hope she has a good lawyer however. I imagine she's in for some real legal issues.

The most pathetic part... there are so many... is that here is a 45-year old woman who immigrated to the United States like 10-years ago from the Congo, a nation that has horrible human right violations... if she wanted to save the world or how people are treated, or whatever, why didn't she use her protest power to bring attention to the horrors that are happening in the Congo... People truly in need of people speaking out. To come to the US, a "safe" nation that has first world problems & take a stand here is disingenuous

We are no longer a "safe nation" and we can't take in any more. The US is WAY over crowded and more and more are not working and expect the government aka the tax payers to support them. Esp the ones who sneak across the border. You born and raised here in the US and you want a food stamp card? Just go the the DHS office and fill out the paper work and say you are an illegal migrant worker and you get instant card that day.

If you are so stupid as to climb the side of the Statue of Liberty I say leave them there til they fall in the water. Swim or drown.
Closing the doors and letting her sit there til she "asks for help" is insane. Besides the fact that if the idiot falls off and gets hurt she is going to sue because there should have been more done to keep her from being stupid. Or if she fell and died then her family would sue.

Congo isn't the only country that has really bad human life problems, people in Africa, Mexico to name a few, if you want to move to a place with better opportunities, then that's your prerogative, but the United States has problems too. We have people living on the streets, abandoned homes, and outside in the woods, the Statue of Liberty means freedom, justice, the pursuit of happiness, we have the right to go or do anything we want, live where we want.
