I am trying to buy fresh, but there are some times when fresh is kinda pricey and I have to buy frozen.
-
I always buy fresh fruit. I will also buy fresh veggies as often as possible usually in the season. Besides price I buy frozen because I won't finish fresh veggies before they go bad :rose: :rainbow: :peace:

I buy fresh. I love fruit and i don't ever recall buying any frozen fruit. I have bought canned fruit before.
-
We buy fresh as much as possible. We do end up having to buy frozen blueberries in the winter, but right now I can go pick them from pots on my patio! I need to grow enough so that I can freeze my own. Our grocery store has a pretty good variety of fresh veggies all year long, so I take advantage of that. The farmers' markets during the summer are awesome, and I do try to freeze some of their veggies to carry me through the winter.

I buy fresh as much as possible. Things are a little pricey so I am trying to buy on sale.

I always try to by fresh but sometimes I think that's worse with all the e.coli outbreaks and the contaminated water. I don't really think there is a way to eat healthy without loosing your mind in terror over what disease you are putting in your body while trying to keep it healthy.

 :star:  I tend to buy more fresh than frozen lately. I walk next to the fruit and veggie section of the store and it looks and smells good. I got to get me some of those smell good fruit and veggies!v :silly:  :star:

I do, I buy both, or I have a family member who plants a garden, so I can get some fresh veggies from them.

Fresh almost exclusively. Frozen stuff tends to taste a little icky to me. Some veggies handle it better than others though I guess.
-
Both - Depends on the season. I even buy caned fruit sometimes.
-
I buy fresh, rarely if ever frozen or canned. I have read that frozen vegetables retain their nutrients even better than fresh, so I guess it is just a matter of what is more convenient.
-
I always buy fruit fresh and I mostly buy fresh vegetables.

Of course I try fresh. But sometimes you have to take frozen things that would last longer. If you make workpieces.

-
I like to buy them fresh
-
I buy fresh from the farmers market, might be a little higher. But I like to support them and it taste better then buying them at the grocery store where they may have been sitting for 3-4 days or more. I would rather buy frozen then canned where I can. Seems to taste more like the fresh then the canned stuff does. But in doing that I have to wait for a trip out of town and then stock up. So I take a couple of large coolers. Put all of my meat in one and the veggies in another.
-
I  my fruits fresh. I use the frozen vegetables from time to to time, I prefer fresh vegetables as well.

Fresh fruit and veggies all the way! Must be organic too. Frozen is not the best choice but if it's a quick must then there is nothing you can do. Some times I use frozen fruit in my shakes or smoothies.

I do both depending on what the fruit or vegetable will be. I hate cooking so it will be something I can throw together in 15 minutes or less.
-
I always buy fresh fruit cause is healthy
-
It's a matter of seasonal for me. In the summer I try to go to the Farmer's Markets and buy fresh fruit and veggies, but in the winter I tend to go for frozen much more often. I do this also because I love most fresh fruit but am more picky about the veggies I eat. Right now, as of August, it is and has been a banquet since early June. Love all my fruit!
-
I always buy fresh fruit and veggies and sometimes I will buy frozen to make smoothies and frozen vegetables because it is more healthy. I buy it all except the can stuff.
-
Always use fresh in summer, but winter go with frozen.

I always buy fresh fruit and veggies at a local farmer's market but sometimes also buy veggies frozen for going into stews and the like. It's 11 miles round trip to the farmer's market but they have such fresh and good stuff at such good prices, it is very worth the trip.
-
I try to buy fresh things, but when I am in a hurry, or in the winter, I usually get frozen.
-
Primarily fresh fruit but if I am going to make sundaes or a dessert with strawberries I buy organic frozen ones. Veggies I rarely buy either way because of disability I really can't cook so I try to get them in salad form.

For the most part we always buy fresh, we are close to a flea market with a huge produce section. We buy as much as we can there and the rest at the store. But usually fresh. Never canned anymore.
-
Always fresh never frozen, I think its cause I hardly really look at them in the frozen section.
-
I buy both depending on the situation.

Both, and both fruits and veggies does a body and mind good!

Frozen because they have already selected the best of the crops.

If I can find them in season I prefer to buy fresh. If they are out of season I will buy frozen or canned, but out of the two I prefer frozen better than canned.
-
Fruits - fresh
Vegies - mostly frozen except for those that are going in a salad.
-
I don't usually buy frozen fruit. We aren't big fruit eaters, anyway. I usually buy veggies frozen. Sometimes I'll get fresh, especially if there is a certain recipe I want to try. I also get canned veggies because that's what my dad likes.
-
I grow my favorite veggies during the summer.
Occasionally, I may buy mixed veggies frozen. However very seldom.
I do buy fresh fruit, prefer Farmer's Market items.
Occasionally canned....like kidney beans for chili. Almost time to think about making that again, as fall is around the corner.

I've taken to buying frozen fruit as you can keep it fresh longer. But I tend to get fruit & veggies fresh for the most part. I also get canned veggies.

I am the same way, sometimes when something is on sale at a really good price I will buy and freeze. I freeze a lot of the vegetables out of my garden when they are going crazy and I cannot eat them all. (Good problem!)
-
It depends but I will always buy fresh fruit. I usually get frozen to make smoothies.
-
We prefer buying fresh but not always easy to come by locally so most of the time we buy frozen and occasionally canned. Tried growing some ourselves but the heat was too hard on them even though we watered every day or two.
-
I normally buy my fruits and veggies fresh. I will sometimes buy frozen fruits when I'm making smoothies. :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:
-
One bad thing about fresh veggies is that you have to eat very quick and need go shop frequently, frozen you can put a long time and slow down the shopping habit.
-
we buy both fresh and frozen. we used to buy a lot of canned but frozen seems to be cheaper and healthier.

buying fresh is number one but frozen is 2nd

it is my understanding that frozen is just a good as fresh in some cases.

I like my fruits and vegetables fresh. I buy frozen vegetables because they keep better longer in the freezer.

I do the majority frozen, it really is hard to get good fresh here, they are either half-rotten or nowhere near ripe I got fed up
-
Depending on what's on sale & mostly, I buy the can processed stuff just much cheaper.
