What type(s) of lettuce/greens do you use? I love spinach and collards. I usually eat salads about 4 times a week.
-
I stopped eating salads, I learned only iceberg lettuce is good for you and I just take vitamins.
-
Mixed greens with sliced carrots
-
Any kind of mixed greens with a little cucumber, radish, carrot - used to like onion but for some reason have lost my taste for it which is odd to me because I used to love onion both cooked and raw.
-
I love spinach or mixed greens with carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and croutons in my toss salad. :) :) :) :)
-
I use all types of greens in my salads except for romaine and iceburg lettuces.
-
Mostly romaine (my sister likes that more) but I'm not really picky.
-
I only eat iceberg lettuce. My family likes spinach.
-
I really like salads, but I don't have them often because they get expensive once I add in all the ingredients I like. I prefer spinach, but also like Romaine. And then allll the veggies.
-
I rarely eat salads. However, if i do it is always lettuce, cucumber and shredded cheese. Not much of a salad eater.
-
I use all kinds, and recently have started using Kale too.
-
isberg and spinich .
-
I love iceberg lettuces, not real big on romaine. But if Iceberg is in it, I don't care what other greens are there, I'll eat it.
-
Mixed greens with baby spinach and kale is my go to salad mix :)
-
I like to use mixed greens, spinach or romaine. I love to have cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes and sunflower seeds with mine.
-
I dont eat much salad at home, I prefer salads at a salad bar
-
When i make salads I make them with red lettuce, ice burge lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots
-
I mostly use romaine lettuce but I also like spinach and other mixed greens. I love cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and sweet peppers in my salad. Sometimes I change up my vegies if I am making a specific type of salad like south west or Asian salad.
-
I prefer spinach salads.
-
I  spinach in my salads.
-
I like iceberg but there is not much to it nutritionally. I am not a fan of romaine. I use spinach for the base of my salad.
-
I love the toppings on a salad more than the greens.... mushrooms, onions, sunflower seeds, edamame, nuts, craisins, sesame seeds, chinese noodles, carrots, cucumbers, you name it
-
I have taken up growing my leafy greens indoors.....I grow sprouts.
I have kale, broccoli, alphalfa, various salad combos......
So, winter or summer, I have fresh greens to add to sandwiches, cottage cheese salads with tomatoes and broccoli (which I grow in our garden), and sprouts of different varieties.
So healthy....in sprout form they can be as much as 50x the nutrition that the full grown veggie has.
Easy and fun.

Romaine or iceberg, I know it's a waste but I like the texture. Mixed greens are good except for the leaves you get in there that are bitter or taste like eating grass clippings from your back yard, I don't know which they are or what they're called so I sometimes avoid altogether.
-
I love toss salads....usually I put red onion, cucumber, carrots, sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, romaine lettuce and black olives and cheddar cheese and top that with some Ranch dressing.....yum!
-
I'm not a person who eats salads a lot, I eat it when I have a taste for it. Mostly chef salads.
-
I get the giant bag of lettuce greens from Sam's Club for like $2.00 & add spinach while I'm making it.
I like to add in red onion & avocado in my salads, almost always. I try to eat a salad daily, but don't always get to.

I stopped eating salads, I learned only iceberg lettuce is good for you and I just take vitamins.
Actually, iceberg lettuce has the least vitamins of any of the lettuce types. When I eat tossed salad I usually use mixed spring greens and toss in everything but the kitchen sink that I have in my 'fridge. In fact, if I don't have enough items to put in that I consider it a good salad, I won't bother making one.

I like to use butter lettuce in salad along with a variety of veggies like cherry tomatoes, avocados, diced cucumbers, diced red onion, diced red or orange bell pepper, cauliflower florets or broccoli and maybe a little grated cheddar cheese or feta or bleu cheese crumbles. Sometimes I'll use coarsely chopped walnuts (or toasted almonds), dried cranberries and mandarin orange slices with cherry tomatoes, crispy, crumbled bacon and chopped hard-boiled egg on a bed of baby spinach. There are so many wonderful vinaigrettes to whip up yourself or purchase these days that make these salads mouthwatering.
-
I can eat them at home and at a restaurant, get more of a choice in restaurants.
-
Spinach or romaine or buttercup!
-
Any type is fine with me but I only use a few leaves and more vegetables.
-
I use lettuce, tomatoes, red lettuce, spinach and onion
-
I prefer Iceberg in my tossed salad along with lots of other stuff. Cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, mangos, strawberries and what ever leftovers I have (chicken, steak, rice, corn carrots)
I do like romaine in a chicken caesar salad.
-
I usually just use iceberg lettuce in my salad, but I have tried spinach before. It was good too. I don't like Caesar salad because I don't like anchovies.
-
I use romaine lettuce and red leaf lettuce and add crumbled feta cheese, black olives, cherry tomatoes and carrots and pour ranch dressing. YUM!
-
my husband has gotten used to eating them without dressing. Nuts, cheese, spinach.
-
I like Roman lettuce, iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, spinach and shredded carrots in my toss salad
-
Love salads .Boiled egg, sharp cheese, croutons, nuts, tomatoes and honey mustard dressing.

Any type of salad is good for me! I prefer a caesar or just garden, but as long as it doesn't have nuts, I am good!

spinach, romaine and butter lettuce!

I remember when I told my ten year old son he could make the tossed salad, he litterally tossed it, with lettuce all oer the kitchen.
Was so funny. We salvaged a little of it.
