Title: How many slippers do you tend to go through? And earbuds?
Post by: Mizzkizz7 on October 15, 2018, 10:29:56 pm: I'm finding myself buying slippers and ear buds like every 3 to 4 months. My house slippers never last long and my earbuds for my smartphone always fail. ::) :confused1:

Post by: jkhanson on October 16, 2018, 02:46:46 pm: I have the same slippers for years. Since my feet get cold, I buy slippers with soles so they last a long time. I rarely use earbuds so they also last me a long time. I usually have to search for them since I don't use them frequently.

Post by: bigfoot951 on October 16, 2018, 04:57:01 pm: I have gone over 33 years without having to buy a new pair of slippers! Yeah, I've never owned a pair. Earbuds last fine accept when I wear them at work. There they break so often that just stopped using them.

They are so warm and toasty and never feel to tight and constricted no matter how thick my socks are. Ear buds are awful. I get em' from the $1 store. So if they break I don't feel so guilty about it. Which is awesome. Although this last pair I purchased doesn't have the soft gel on the plugs so they are hard and don't fit right. I'll be looking closer at them the next time I pick a set up.

As for ear buds, the last pair I bought was at christmas time and they are still going strong as I don't use them very often.

Post by: pectacon on October 18, 2018, 09:42:19 am: Rather than full-on fuzzy bunny slippers, I get those junky $5 canvas shoes at Walmart to wear around the house. Those are usually good for a couple years before they fall apart.

Ear buds go faster. The sound always cuts out in one ear of the default iphone buds before too long.
