Crazy as I am about pumpkins (growing them) I'm not wild about their flavor. I have a few dessert recipes I've been meaning to try this fall including smores cookies and an old favorite, apple cider cookies. You really do just make cookies using a few packets of apple cider drink mix. Never would have thought of it but they're delicious. You can even add a caramel in the middle if you want caramel apple cookies.

I enjoy the fall season, because it means the summer is over and it is time for things to cool down. I like how store come out with the pumpkin flavored foods. I don't try all of them because it can be an overload.

There's nothing I look specifically forward to in the fall, but I do enjoy pumpkin pie! It's a bit difficult for me to find vegan varieties, but... Anyone know if they make pumpkin flavored ice cream?? I don't know if I'd be keen on trying it, but I'd be interested to know if it exists! I think I'll go Google it, actually...  ;D

I am ready to get out my slow cooker and make some good soups and chili.  I rarely eat these foods in warm weather but I always starting thinking about them as it gets cooler. Nothing like a great pot of either one when that weather is nasty!
