Today I tried a survey on Tap Research, it said it was 9 minutes and paid 32 cents. After 20 minutes I was only 42 percent done. :o So I just closed it out. ::) When you get a survey that is a lot longer than stated do you stick with it or close it out?

I understand the frustration with the publicized and actual length of surveys. If it turns out the actual length is severely longer than what is publicized, I close it out. If it is not too much longer than what is publicized, I will usually complete it.

I usually stick with it but this one was just too long and slow.

It depends. It depends on how long it is taking and how much more I have to go or think I have to go because you never can tell. I have closed out many surveys that never seem to stop and or are terribly tedious.

most times I continue as there are surveys when the amount done is deceiving as it will say 60%, etc and in a few more questions I'm done or much closer to the end

I try to do the long ones but what I don't like is when you start a survey and then don't qualify and they keep rerouting you to other surveys instead of paying you for the original one

nanny, those bother me the most... I know most of the ones that do that and when I see it is one of them I don't even start it

For the most part I try to stay with it if time permits. There have been a few times where I 'x'ed' out of a survey either because I had other things I had to do at the time, like chores perhaps, or I quit because I was just tired.
But by and large, I do my best to stick with the program. Sometimes it pays off and other times it ends up a bummer. Last night I completed a survey on another site. Even though I was a bit tired, I stayed with it. It took me a comfortable 15 to 20 minutes to complete. I'm glad I completed it because I got $1.40 deposited in my account.

I usually stick with the survey because most likely will earn more than 1c
