I'm having turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce. We're doing the green bean casserole thing too. I'm going to try to make pecan creme brulees this year as a special treat. But I have some apple and pumpkin store bought pies if those don't turn out well. Always be prepared, I say.

going out for dinner this year. my son-in-law is a chef at a local winery who happens to be open this year for Thanksgiving. So We are invited to come there for dinner. It will be a lovely dinner and no one has to clean up !!!!

I am cooking the usual traditional turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, maybe corn casserole, cranberry, stuffing, pies, rolls.
-
I found an 10 pound turkey. I always had a turkey because I would love to take all leftovers home without sharing. We go to his family all the time because his family is big, I don't have to work there. I love turkey sandwiches, so we eat turkey all November long. :angel11:

My husband always cooks the turkey on the grill, and I usually cook the gravy, rice, sweet potato casserole and any of our other favorite dishes until I run out of time. My grown kids and their families will bring other dishes. This year my youngest daughter is going to tackle the dressing as well as her traditional items (my mother's yeast rolls, deviled eggs, spinach salad, and pumpkin cookies. My other daughter is bringing turnip greens and a cauliflower dish (for my low carb eaters). It's always a fun time with way too much to eat!

Typical Thanksgiving meal.
-
Well...since my family and I will be staying in a hotel for a couple days..probably Cracker Barrel
-
Looks like it'll be the usual Turkey meal...The bird with peas & rice, mac & cheese, green beams, corn muffins, cranberry sauce, gravy and baby back ribs...lol I guess we'll be stuffed turkeys ourselves!! Forget to mention the pies, apple and cherry, the folks don't care for pumpkin.
Hope you all enjoy your meal and friends families.
-
I believe I'm going to my son and daughter in law
-
I'm having Thanksgiving at my house this year & we're having all the typical Thanksgiving foods... this year, I'm going to be making corn pudding for the first time - I was reading that it was a Thanksgiving staple & I've never had it, so now is the time to try it.... looks so easy, hope it works out. :)

I'll have turkey dinner, corn, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

I'm going to my sisters this year and I am making a pumpkin sausage soup. Very rich and creamy, so good! Yummy! :)
-
There will only be 2 of us this year, a small turkey breast, dressing, mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, deviled eggs, and pumpkin pie
-
I plan to buy some ready-made goodies to contribute to the dinner. I have to work on Friday, so I do not plan to be out too long that day.
-
this year we are going out for dinner, my son-in-law is a chef at a winery and that is where we are going. Usually we go to his house anyway and eat dinner and he cooks it all LOL Just won't have any leftovers this year :(

We have a vegan, a vegetarian, a pescatarian (vegetarian who can eat fish), and four meat eaters.
We are having vegan "chicken", and real chicken.
Salads with sprouts ect, vegan cookies, vegan ice cream, real ice cream, pumpkin pie, and a normal bday cake.
4 different diets, a challenge, but will be fun.
