What kind of tree, and how tall, do you have.  We have a 6 foot artificial tree.

I like real trees that are about 6 ft. I love the smell of it and when the season is over, I can get rid of it instead  of packing it away in a box.

We get a real tree for the living room and then have an artificial one that we put up in the family room. The real one is 6 ft, the artificial one is 5ft.

We have a small prelit tree that we set on a table in front of a window.  We alternate decorating it with homemade ornaments one year and store bought the next!

Now that I am retired and my kids are on their own, I have an artificial tree that is about 42 inches tall and i put on a small table. I don't have to worry about watering it or all the needles falling off nor do I have to haul a large tree in and out.  It suits my purposes!

I have an artificial tree because a hard tree is very hard to put up and dispose of when it is over.

My hubby and I are seniors and no longer buy a tree. We prefer to buy all our presents, wrap them, and put them under my daughter's gorgeous 6-footer because she has young children who get thrilled and excited by them. We try to get them to her just after Thanksgiving so the grandkids can look at them for several weeks before opening them.

We've always had a real tree.  Yes, the needles falling can be a mess but I love a real tree.  Love the smell, love the look, just love a real Christmas tree.

We have an artificial tree.  I would say it is 6 feet tall.  My son helped me string the lights and decorate it this year.  It is a pretty basic tree.....lights, gold beading, gold and red ornaments and an angel on the top.

We have an artificial. My dad bought it on a clearance sale after Christmas one year.  We use to get a real one but it has been a long time since we had one.

I don't put one up anymore. Just the two of us. Grandson is gone and never  comes buy.  Daughter-in-law has remarried after the death of her first  husband (12 years before she married again)  And they live quite a ways from here.  so just the  2 of us. We do put a large lighted star up out front and that is it. Christmas is the reason for the season. So we  go to Church and help put the  Christmas boxes together and help deliver the meals to those who  need them,  Then go to Church on the 24th. To celebrate the coming of Christ. Church on Christmas day. Yep we are busy.

I don't put up a tree.  I put a wreath on the door,  candles in the windows and a few items inside.  I celebrate the birth of Jesus and enjoy others during this season.

I don't put a tree up at my house anymore because I'm never at home.  I stay at my daughter's house so I can keep my three year old grandson.  They put up a real tree.

Haven't had a xmas tree since I was 10 years old.  Growing up I remember having an artificial tree.  At one time my mother said she had live trees but she switched to artificial because she was tired of picking up pine needles throughout the year.  I was too young to remember that I just remembered the artificial one.
