She was Laverne in Laverne and Shirley.  She was 75.

Man, that's sad. I remember watching Laverne & Shirley all the time when I was a kid. Also her role as Merna in The Odd Couple. RIP Penny.  :'(

I saw that, I always got a kick out of Laverne & Shirley. I couldnt remember if Cindy was still alive, so googled it, she is

I enjoyed watching Laverne and Shirley. Really sad and unexpected.

RIP Laverne/Penny Marshall

So sad, it seems like daily many of the icons I grew up with are quickly dying out as easily as blowing out a candle🕯 in the wind. It doesn’t matter whether I was a fan or not but the memories & experiences triggered at the simple mention of a name or the title of a show or movie🎥.
