Title: RIP Carol Channing

Stage legend Carol Channing passed on at the age of 97. She was famous for her distinctive singing style in such songs as Diamonds are a girl's best friend. RIP Carol.

Wow another great - well hopes and prayers for peace and comfort for her friends fans and family.  97 was a good long life I hope and pray I make it that long.   :rose:

So sorry to hear about Ms. Carol, but she lived a long life.  We all wish we cna live that long.

Yeah, I saw it on the T.V., yesterday. Didn't know she was still living, thought she had maybe died years ago.

I cannot remember not thinking she was really really old.  I was surprised to hear of her passing.  I did enjoy her work.  RIP.

I honestly didn't realize she was still alive until the news hit. Still, it's very sad.
