I read yesterday that it snowed in Arizona. I think that is cool. I wish it snowed everywhere a little. I think everyone deserves to see some snow. It has gotten down to the 20's where I lived and it didn't snow.
-
I like snow in manageable amounts. It can be beautiful. Right now, I hate it.
-
Yes snow is beautiful, but I dont like too much of it.
-
Here in MN we have snow up to our butts. You can have some! :D
-
I like to watch it snow, do not like having to go anywhere in it.
-
I think at this point in every state history you will find snow has been there. Some, like the DC Metro get it each year while other place get it like every 20 years.

I don't think it has snowed in Hawaii. It has never snowed in Florida. It stands to reason some places get it every year and some never do. Some places are cold and some places it doesn't get cold. You have to have cold to get snow. :)

Here in beaches in NC, we don't get snow just a frost. One in a blue moon we get an inch.
-
Reporting live from phoenix: no snow in town, but my house did just get some very small hail. Everyone gets so grouchy about winter weather here, I don't get it. We'll be back to triple digits soon enough.

When I saw it on the news with all the kids having fun I thought it was a planned event, Otherwise it surely wont last long so enjoy it while you can. Having moved from the Adirondack Mountains in New York State, I am ok with no snow!
-
Snowed in California too Arizona is a hot state agreed :rainbow:
-
Did you see the news ? 1 foot of snow in Kingman, AZ,,, LOL
-
We got 3 inches of snow and schools got cancelled for tomorrow in Las Vegas Nevada.
-
Snow in Arizona. Is that her first I don't know? One thing I do know it will probably melt faster than snow in New England! :rainbow: :peace:

Some places in Arizona get snow on a regular basis - at the higher elevations. However I flew out of Tucson yesterday and they were expecting snow in the valley for the first time in a while.

I bet they have had snow in northern Florida more than once. I have been there when it was under 32 degrees.

I have family in Az. and they were sending pictures of it. In Prescott they got almost 3' flagstaff got 4'. Yes certain areas o f Az. do get a lot. Sure wish we had gotten some. But our mountains did and that will help the snowpack and water run off for summer.

My best friends lives in Vegas and they had snow the other day. Crazy!!!
-
I hope people had a chance to play in it.

My daughter lives in Tucson, AZ. She is in the army and her unit was mobilized recently, so she is away. I have one of the her kids staying with me while she is gone for the next year. My granddaughter's father sent her pictures of the snow. They had quite a bit and built a small snowman. I am in WI so my granddaughter is liking the snow and doesn't want it to go away yet.

Hawaii and Florida both have famous ski mountains and get snow yearly. We had snow in Malibu, CA last week, right down on the beach. It only stuck for about 30 minutes but it was really fun. I had to laugh, we lived in Colorado for a few years and had lots of folks go to Arizona every year to escape the snow and cold...what a surprise they got this year for a few days.

I've experienced snow in Arizona it was October several years ago I was going to the Grand Canyon and there were flurries when I was in Flagstaff.
-
Cool Arizona got snow ive heard its one of the most dry places on the planet normally so it could use the extra water when its melts
-
 :in-love:   I heard about this weather, snow falling in the state of Arizona. Some places in Arizona do get snow, specially the higher elevations. Mostly Arizona does stay warmer than most places though. :in-love:

When my grandparents were alive they used to live in Arizona because it was so very rare when they get snow. I bet for Arizona it must have seemed like a blizzard.
-
The weather is crazy, we had a huge snow in early Dec in NC that was record setting. So much damage caused by it as lots of things just not built for that snow load
-
We rarely have a good snowfall here in middle Tennessee. I can't imagine what it feels like to live with snow all winter long. I'm sure it gets old quickly, especially for those who have to get around in it. We get a dusting about twice a year, and occasionally get an inch or two. I would love to see snow that covers the ground without grass and leaves sticking up out of it. So far this year, we've had nothing but a few flakes. Our biggest problem is too much rain accompanied by flooding!
-
Some are blaming globe warming on that and other snow storms.,here in ca it's flooding alot of it.
-
i agree if we get snow i like small amounts at a time
-
Snow is pretty when it's falling and nice if you don't have to get out in it. As for me I'm happy with or without snow since I'm retired I can stay home and off the roads. :snowman: :snowman: :snowman: :snowman:

Flagstaff is so high it always gets snow.

My daughter and her husband live in Tucson. Her Army unit was mobilized recently so she is in El Paso. I have one of her kids staying with me for the year that she will be gone. The other 2 are staying in Tucson with their dad and he sent pictures to the one I have, staying with me, of the snow. They actually made a small snowman so there was quite a bit of snow there.
