I don't get this. I have been told this more than once then asked the question "What is the name of your favorite fruit" and when I answer I am DQ. Am I not suppose to put the NAME of my favorite fruit? Maybe this is a trick question?
-
I hear ya. Whenever I put in my zip code, I get DQ. I get the feeling they don't care about the opinions of midwesterners. I have gotten DQ for liking Criminal Minds as my favorite TV show...or mint chocolate chip as my favorite icecream.

I get bounced sometimes for being a Republican...guess they just want to hear from Socialists... :silly:

Yeah that happens to me all the time. And as soon as you answer that question and with that answer you get the boot so yes that is the reason. They want the answers they want and can't get that if they get our opinions.
-
i have had this problem but i will have to watch and see if something similar happens

I sometimes am not able to put in my zip code so I have to close surveys
-
I had the fruit question yesterday and answered, papaya. That was wrong too.
-
:clover: :peace: :clover: I have been disqualified for many simple questions that should not have a right or wrong answers too. Wonder if they have to many surveys that have been met that they disqualify people for. ??? :clover: :peace: :clover:

More than likely "Innovate Surveys"...when I see the zip code just put in 1st 3 of zip...hit submit...at least get one cent dq.
If you put the whole zip in you get nothing and it won't let you change it after 1st attempt.... :glasses-nerdy:

Hmmm Interesting.

Papaya! Really, bremer51, no wonder you got disqualified for answering Papaya as your favorite fruit!
Just kidding. It is frustrating to answer a question that is not a YES or NO question and get disqualified.

Hey, thanks Joe. Guessing you found that one out by trial-and-error? :BangHead:
Some of these surveys have odd glitches.

I get DQd for putting in my age quite often now, they seemed much more interested in my opinion before I turned 30. Sometimes get booted after I say I'm white. Which if you only want certain demographics fine, I just wish they would ask those questions at the beginning rather than after I've given them all their data...

I totally agree with that. And I can understand we want a certain percentage of each race IF that even has a bearing on the subject. But something that will DQ you should be asked FIRST.

No Right or Wrong Answer to what? Do not make any sense.
-
pennies are a click away, be careful. don't send money you get money
-
I'm sure the reason for your DQ had nothing to do with the answer to your favorite fruit. It's the same way they decide to tell you the quota has been met the moment you finish the survey. It's called: tactics they use!
-
Speaking of "no right or wrong answers," I get that all the time with tasks. They want my opinion. I give it to them. Then they tell me I supplied answers that were not what they expected, and say my accuracy is too low. If they already knew the answers, why do they bother asking for answers that match their own answers on a task. I don't get it.

Then I should have never been allowed to start the survey. I answered maybe one question or two. And when I answer that question EVERY TIME I get the DQ.

I like the survey's with weird questions you have to run down before you get to one you can acknowledge.
Have you taken a trip in space in the last 3 months?
Do you own a Unicycle?
Do you watch TV?
I'm like 'yup, there's only one I can answer yes!'

I am sure there is some hidden agenda behind some of those questions. But just because I say I own a unicycle doesn't mean I am lying.

Maybe I missed something??
-
You gotta love it when you click on a survey and it says you are disqualified. That happened to me today. I didn't get a chance to answer one question.
-
I just answer the questions as honestly as I can and if they DQ me so be it.
-
I have never run into anything like that. I do get credit remove from me when they think that I read too fast. Makes no sense!!!!
-
Some survey websites are looking for specific answers,
If they do not like your answer, they DQ you.
-
The thing i can't stand is that when I answer a question about keeping it to myself I always agree. then they ask again are you sure you understand? I say yes . and they put you are not qualified for this survey? ???

lol Yeah I know. I have that happen too. Make sure you read those carefully. I had one that actually in the long paragraph said if you agree to not tell this then click "disagree". It was a trap.
-
It's bad when you complete the entire survey then get disqualified. Tell me early on so I can go to the next one.

Then there ARE right or wrong answers. lol
I totally understand how it works but if you meet the demographics then it should not kick you out. There was one I done that kept asking me about using a certain product. It was a certain company. I told them all the way thru for 20 minutes I would NOT use "this" company. In the end "you did not qualify to take this survey" and no pay. The person behind the survey was the company I said I will not use. Well instead of kicking me out why don't you ASK me why I will not consider using your company.
-
I notice the two things I am disqualified for the most initially is my age and my income. They don't care about the responses from old and poor, I guess! However, I would rather be disqualified up front than not credited after I finish the entire survey. I must have this happen at least 2-3 times each month. Sometimes more! I was on a real roll with completing surveys without credit several months ago and I was becoming completely fed up!!
-
I think the advertisers are looking for certain answers and if your isn't what they are looking for, they will kick you out. Happens to me all the time.

Well that is a given. If the company behind the survey is Tide detergent and you say you hate Tide and would never buy it and they are trying to find out how you use their products then yes if you say you never use their products it will kick you out. But I say do that upfront not on the last questions.
-
It might be an error within the survey
-
A lot of times they are looking for people in certain areas.
