Underrated funnyman Tim Conway also passed on. I'm sure he's up there trying to break up Harvey Korman by the Pearly Gates. RIP Tim.

Are you just now finding out about this? He died a few days ago. NBC is suppose to have some kind of tribute show for him but I didn't catch when it was going to be on.

Hello!
May he rest in peace. I hope his life on this earth was great.

I really enjoyed watching him, He was so funny.

No. This may come as a surprise -or even SHOCK- to many, but this message board isn't the nexus of my being. I only tend to come here to make my 30 posts for the $$$. So when something newsworthy hits, I'll post about it here at my leisure. I'm not trying to 'break news'. Just find enough subjects for posts. (As I'm sure 90% of the people here are.)

Whats even funnier is your quote here.
Death ISNT life.
Now heaven has a gate.LOL!!
Maybe you and Countrygirl can apply for a job there. You can take care of the gate and her the animals.LOL!
Getting called out and not being able to defend his JW beliefs has made hitch unhinged. (unhitched?)
Last time I saw him this bad was when he snapped and went after falcon9. LOL!

I was martyr to get rid of his nonsense.Well worth it,not a s*ck-up like u.
Also there are plenty of posts i am pleased with RE bible truths that have stood the test and the bible topic is alive and well.
Do yourself a favor, grab your 30 posts promoting your fantasy world or telling us you dont feel well so we can all pity you.
You're posting on borrowed time, hitch.
Hey hitch, why isn't the term Jehovah Witness in the bible?

Latch/Hitch,
In our Congregation Meetings at our Kingdom Hall, in our Watchtower and other publications from the Society and from Jehovah's Word the Bible, we are taught and reminded as to how we should be treating others.
When people disagreed with Jesus, how did he react? Did he retaliate or did he show respect? Even when being mistreated, Jesus did not mistreat others in return.
I've been following some of the posts you have been making both as Hitch and as Latch. I am going to kindly suggest that you think before you post. If there is a point that you are trying to make, please try to find a more tactful approach.
I've been a Jehovah's Witness for over 20 years. I know that it is our goal to try to win hearts not arguments. By trying to win arguments and the ongoing name calling, you are giving both Jehovah and His people a very bad name.
So again, please take some time to review your posts over the last few months and see if you can honestly make improvements.

I recently watched an old episode of the Carol Burnett show with some friends. It was very nostalgic, and also very funny. Tim, Harvey, and Carol were comedy giants in my opinion. They were able to be so "off the cuff!" When you can spontaneously respond with hilarious behaviors or comments, you are a true comedian.

I have been watching McHales Navy in the last week and forgot how funny it was.
-
Tim Conway was a truly genius comic. Did you ever see his sketch of the dentist working on his first patient (Harvey Korman, of course!)? I practically fell over from laughing so hard. He started out by stabbing himself with novacaine and it got funnier and funnier from there.

Hi Bet.....first of all i want you to know i respect what you say and also for for being a JW.But i also wanna remind you Jesus didnt hold back from calling others hippocrites or foolsih ones and showing righteous anger when they turned the temple into a flea market.
Yes i am guilty of mixing authoritive speaking when maybe i should have kept quiet. So if i get a little over the top defending the organization please understand.
Fusion Cash ISNT so wise either.

I never heard of him. The only comedian I ever really liked was George Carlin.

Hello Eric and welcome to Fusion Cash. Thank you for responding and for your involvement in the forum community.
You are absolutely correct in acknowledging that Jesus, at times, showed righteous indignation. Years ago when I would read that in the Bible, I had a hard time understanding what was really behind His righteous anger.
After a careful study of the scriptures and the Bible in whole, the picture has gotten much clearer. Now it's much easier to understand the motive behind the anger.
If you were able to look at the past threads that I am referring to, you may be able to see a clear difference in Jesus' righteous anger and the anger of the forum member.
I appreciate your comment.

You do know that this eric person is the same person that was previously posting under hitch and also latch and also about 14 other names. You know the person with all the anger. lol
Jesus was not an angry person. And did not scream at people and call them names when they rejected him. And as others have told him you do not win people to your religion by calling them names and putting them down.
There are people from all faiths in this forum. I am pretty sure there is an actual area that is FOR debating religion and it doesn't even go in the offtopic area. But that is beside the point. The point is you cannot shove your religion down somebody else's throat. Which is exactly what he does.

The name's familiar but I don't recall the person. Anyway, may he RIP.

Probably about 20 minutes or so after my reply to eric's post, I began to wonder about that very thing - a new identity? I think it is time to move on to other topics. I'll see you on a different thread.
