Anyone else not get theirs yet? I know a lot of others besides myself that didn't get it.

Does the IRS have your direct deposit? You should have gotten it electronically... you can check on www.IRS.gov
The physical checks are being mailed starting as early as next week, processed from lowest income to highest.

Everyone in my family received their stimulus payments by direct deposit. If you go to IRS.gov, there is a way to check on your payment or check. There is also a place to input information for direct deposit to get it quicker.. I have checked at IRS. gov and the sites are active. We were checking on my daughter's payment and she got it a couple days after ours. Hope that helps and hope you get your money soon. Be Blessed.

We haven't gotten ours yet, but we don't receive a refund, we always pay in. We did go to IRS.gov and put our banking info in but havent heard anything.

SOME people who use direct deposit for refunds have also not got their yet. There was a problem and some people did not get it. SO theirs will be mailed.

I got mine on the 16th through direct deposit. Make sure you are eligible you can check the status on the site. I know they were having problems with the site crashing before. https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment

My friend tried the IRS website and she keeps getting the message 'Payment Status Unavailable' so she doesn't know if she'll get it or not (both her and hubby on SSDI)

My son and I live together. He got his almost right away. I was on disability and my information should go in from Social Security but I haven't gotten mine either.

Haven't gotten ours were on s.s. and have read and listened to on YouTube that we don't have to do anything. Irs will get the bank info from s.s. So it's a wait8ng game.

I have not gotten mine. When I go to the IRS.gov and put my info in, I get message that there is no info available for me.
I am glad that I am not alone.
I am retired and get social security only via direct deposit. I have not filed a return for the last two years.
I thought that I was supposed to get it this week by direct deposit. Was I wrong?

I never 'want' to argue, but you can't deny that about a 3rd of the forum has either directly or indirectly complained about your cantankerous replies. It wouldn't hurt to take a moments reflection and see where you come off extremely 'stand off-ish' for lack of a better term.

It is common knowledge. It has nothing to do with receiving a paper check for refunds. A lot of people will be getting their stimulus money via paper check even though the IRS does have their bank account info on file.
If anybody has paid any attention to the news at all you would know by now that thousands of payments got messed up and went in to the wrong accounts. One source said it had something to do with turbo tax. Idk how they even know which ones were messed up but they do know. I don't know who all is included but the people whose check got messed up are also receiving a paper check.
If you go on the IRS website and click the "get my payment" and follow the prompts it should tell you that your check will be mailed out on April 24th. Or that is the date others are saying and people I know are being told that.
There was a schedule that told when all the payments would be made. I would assume that info would also be on the IRS website. You could probably just google "schedule for stimulus payments in 2020".

Well, the "Get my Payment" site is working now and asked for further info to process by Direct Deposit! :glasses-nerdy:

But, it needed 2018 info as the 2019 return is still in limbo, but I have filled out the form and am now in the cue for the Tax Refund Advance payment (Stimulus Payment) Thank You for the information~!

Where is my stimulus check?
If you haven’t received your stimulus check, then you’re probably wondering when it’s going to arrive. The first batch of stimulus checks already have been sent through direct deposit, and maybe you weren’t one of the lucky 80 million people. If you included your direct deposit information on your 2018 or 2019 federal tax return, the IRS already should have paid you through direct deposit.
The IRS is now sending paper stimulus checks, and plans to send approximately 5 million paper checks each week. The order of stimulus checks is not random or based on geography. The IRS will send checks starting with taxpayers who have the lowest annual adjusted gross income as reported on their 2018 or 2019 tax return, whichever is more recent. Here is the planned weekly schedule for the IRS to mail stimulus checks based on annual adjusted gross income, as first reported by The Washington Post. All dates represent the “week ending” (for example, the week ending April 24) and the IRS could change this schedule at any time.

$10,001 - $20,000: May 1
$20,001 - $30,000: May 8
$30,001 - $40,000: May 15
$40,001 - $50,000: May 22

How can I get my stimulus check faster?
No, you don’t want to wait weeks or possibly months to receive your stimulus check. Yes, you want to get your stimulus check faster. The IRS has created an online portal on its website (irs.gov) called “Get My Payment” so you can track the status of your payment and enter your direct deposit information, if you prefer to receive your check into your bank account. If you don’t have a bank account, then you can still use the Get My Payment online portal to ensure that your mailing address is correct. If you encounter an error - Payment Status Not Available - while entering your information, there are several potential reasons.
First, you may not qualify for a stimulus check. The most common reason is that you earned too much income in 2018 or 2019. For example, if you earned more than $98,000 as a single filer or $198,000 as a married/joint filer, than you don’t qualify for a stimulus check.
Second, the IRS may still be processing your information. For example, if you recently submitted a 2018 or 2019 federal tax return, it’s possible that the IRS has not finished reviewing your tax return or incorporating your information into the Get My Payment tool. Similarly, if you are not required to file federal income taxes and recently updated your direct deposit information into the Non-Filer online portal on the IRS website, the IRS may be updating your information as well.
Third, if you receive federal benefits such as Social Security, veteran’s, disability or others, the Get My Payment tool will not show you the status of your stimulus check or enable you to input your direct deposit information.
The IRS says that the IRS website is updated once daily overnight so you can check back each day to verify if your information has been updated. If you are a stimulus check recipient, the IRS also will send you a letter regarding your stimulus check, including how to contact the IRS to correct any errors.

i got mine on tax day but a co-worker still hasn't got hers and when she checks online it says they can't determine the status of it.

I think I've heard lately either on the news or online if you get SS or SSI and didn't file 2018 or 2019 because your income was low enough, you still qualify for the economic impact payment and they should start going out sometime this week and next week, either through direct deposit or a paper check. I also get the "no info available" from irs.gov at this time.

we havent gotten ours yet..irs site says it will be mailed out the 24th...but i had heard that ss,disability checks would be going direct deposit..but it says mailed out...hope it doesnt take long to arrive..

This is not correct. I know more than one person that made more than $10,000 and they got their checks in the first batch.
And people who made almost $200,000 won't get a check period. smh

That is what happened with the people I know who had not got it yet. They were even Not owing and not getting anything back. Check that IRS link. Their check was suppose to be mailed on the 24th. They got it on the 25th in the mail.

My neighbor got a letter in the mail from the IRS saying that she will get her stimulus check for $1200 direct deposited into her account. I haven't heard of others getting a letter. ???

I know someone who's paid taxes this year is getting a check mailed to them while some other people i know who didn't make enough income to ever file taxes had to go to a tax person to have them file their non filers paperwork since the irs site didn't work for them.
If you or someone you know is a non filer, they need to fill out the paperwork and get it submitted somehow or they won't get a penny for the stimulus payments.

My mother received her stimulus check a few days ago; she receives SSI. Needless to say, both of us were pleasantly surprised!

Got mine in the mail today yeah so will lay off doing surveys for a couple days. May buy a candy bar,couple apples and a hamburger now can afford those.

We got ours yesterday.Good thing we had 2018 tax info cos my accountant left off a # on our bank for 2019 return.
That woulda delayed it and resulted in a paper check.I caught it in time and corrected it using 2018 return.
