anyone see the trailer to the remake of Nightmare on Elm st. it looks badass ............i know i know robert englund is not play'n freddy krueger, but lets give jackie earle haley a chance, i think hes going to do a great job

Perhaps I'm showing my age, but I am not at all thrilled about this "remastering".  Having Freddy Krueger as a  child killer who essentially deserved his fate was what made the movie.  In my mind, there is only  one "true" Freddy Kruger and that is Robert Englund.  I won't be seeing the new movie, much to my hubby's dismay.

They are butchering the good old horror flicks. I watched the new Children of the corn movie last week and I was so pissed off. I wish they could just leave the classics alone!!!
