travel or stay home im staying at home.
-
I love traveling. I can't wait to go to the beach next month.
-
I'm not going to travel until next year.
-
I love to travel, which is why this current pandemic is a little difficult for me to cope with. In the meantime, I have to get used to enjoying the homebody lifestyle, LOL.
-
I went home (Central America) to visit my parents and in-laws in March and came back a few days before everything shot down, so I am not thinking on any long distance trip right now. We always go to the beach on the summer and stay for 4 or 5 days, this year we might do a short trip, for a day and back. Things are not totally good yet to plan anything more than that, specially with my granddaughter been high risk.
-
That depends on the state of the Sundance festival for next year but other than that, I'm staying my a** home.
-
No traveling this year
-
I have two vacations planned, and I will be going...with mask, hand sanitizer, and spray disinfectant in hand.
-
I love to travel, but for now I am staying home; as of right now I have no plans to fly on plane this year. I generally take amtrak when going home to visit family but may opt to drive, just waiting a little longer to see how I feel about it. This pandemic has really changed the way we live and adopting to a new normal.
-
I do not travel anyways so staying at home is no big deal to me.
-
Right now I would rather stay at home. The world is not safe any more. And it has nothing to do with a flu virus. I have been reading online where a lot of people, especially if they have plenty of room, are making their back yard in to a vacation area with basically like a mini park in their own back yard.
-
Right now I would rather be at home.
-
I look forward to going somewhere on vacation, I just don't know where to go
-
i have no plans to travel
-
Stay at home for now! I love to travel but it is too much trouble for now.
Checking your temperature at many points, no mask-no entry-no service,
asking you if you are sick when you are not and more. It is just too much hassle!

Hello! :D :)
I mean definitely no long over night travels but a nice trip to the beach or a close party is fine. I really don't think this will be all over next year either. It will definitely takes some time ya. :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:  :rose:

I'm not a big traveler, but it would really come down to where I was going. I'm not afraid to go out in public, but really want to avoid the large mass of people.
-
I did so much traveling in my life, I just need a break. I am glad things are shut down for this year. It gives me an excuse to stay home.
-
Stay home. It's getting worse out there.
-
We had travel plans, but cancelled them. Staying home this year is our plan.
-
So far still staying home and away from large groups. I may take a weekend trip before the year is up to celebrate my anniversary.
-
I had my first international trip planned for March 31, 2020. Of course, not only did I cancel, but my tour company cancelled almost exactly while I was making the call to do so. I had been looking forward to this for almost ten months. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I have been somewhat sad ever since.
However, my daughter, who was going to travel with me, and I are planning another trip with the same tour company. We have a voucher for 105% of what we originally paid which doesn't expire until Dec. 31, 2021. The trip just has to be booked by then, not necessarily completed. My daughter and I have agreed we aren't interested in doing any actual travel before June or July, 2021. We are going to be looking at our options soon!

Me too.!!!
-
I have no option but to stay home due to a travel restriction imposed by my employer.
-
stay at home
-
We're thinking about renting a cabin & taking a short road trip in August, something simple & not in a heavily populated area that is relatively close by -- to hike & just get away. Hopefully it works out :)
-
not traveling anywhere...we dont go anywhere anyway..our family lives in town
-
I like to travel by car but so far this summer it has just been the backyard.
-
Right now i have no plans to travel anywhere. when i do decide to travel it will most likely be by car and not by air.
if you are travelling hope you have fun but stay safe. :rainbow: :peace:

STAY. AT. HOME.
-
I only go out when it is very necessary, otherwise I stay home.
-
No this year my mom and I are choosing to stay home and not take a vacation. It's disappointing but just too dangerous in the state we usually travel in.
-
I've started taking more local trips but have been very conservative with the covid 19.
-
I want to travel. I'm sick of this covid crap. Also, sick of not really going anywhere anymore. Swear the next person who tells me to be patient can go fly a kite
-
I don't plan on travelling anywhere until I get vaccinated against the coronavirus. Travelling on public transportation puts you in close contact with others and travelling by car forces you to overnight in places that may carry the virus. It's just too scary to travel.
-
Oh I am definitely staying at home. I go to the grocery store once or twice a month during "senior" hour but I don't go anywhere otherwise. I just feel safer staying at home.
-
We took a road trip at the end of june and came back the 1st week of july. We were just careful and followed all guidelines across the country. :peace:
-
I am planning on travelling at the end of the month. I have been stuck home for 6 months and I need to get out.
-

I don't travel either.
-
Stay at home when possible. I too need a vacation badly but I just don't consider it safe yet.
-
The beach sounds lovely. Please remember to social distance when possible and mask up whenever others outside your household are near.
I love traveling. I can't wait to go to the beach next month.
-
On the bright side, this has been a wonderful time to finish projects and organize : 0

I'm hoping they have a vaccine by the end of this year so we can fully reopen next year.

I'm trying to be optimistic but I get that same feeling.

Traveling is on a low priority for most people I know. People have small gatherings in backyards, but large family reunions have been canceled this year.
-
As long as I can drive there and stay at one of our Worldmark Condos, I trust their cleaning process. I wear my mask and follow all the social distancing to feel safe, but we enjoyed the beach a couple of times this year already.
-
Not sure if the time is right for traveling. Even if the people are wearing a mask, it's still a risk.

Fortunately at 82 the stakes are a lot lower than when you have a long life ahead of you.
-
I have lost the desire to travel since BC - Before Covid. Years ago, I had no problem packing up and taking a trip somewhere for a few days or so.
Now I still enjoy day trips with my husband. We'll pack the bikes and go cycling on the beautiful trails in our area. Other times we would spend the day at one of the beaches or state parks.
As of late, however, we have not taken any trips; even for a few hours. We are talking about going on a bike trip soon though.
-
I really love to Travel, but because of my Husband's job, we have not been doing any traveling at all. I miss it so much.
-
never traveled..guess i am a homebody...have went to the mountains..but cant handle the ride with my vertigo...and have never been in a plane...
-
Travelling is my most favorite thing to do in life, but I consider it too dangerous to travel now what with COVID-19 being all over the place. I had to cancel two trips this year and won't plan another one until there is a vaccine and I am able to get it.
-
Can't wait to travel to Vermont and NH this Fall. We pushed the trip forward with Covid in April, but we are going this time. We are driving and have a VRBO so there shouldn't be any problems. A little concerned about getting a hotel on the way up there and on the way back, but hopefully it won't be an issue. I am thankful that our trip to the Canadian Rockies isn't until next year. I would be furious if all this nonsense kept us from going there. ugh.
-
just stay home and stay safe.
-
Better to travel. Everyone is tired of this pandemic, but it seems to be getting back to normal. If you have the opportunity to travel, do it because not everyone has it. When I traveled on cruises, I was stuck there for six months because of covid. But I got lucky and found a sweet thousand-dollar airline check. Expensive but safe at home. You can visit this page (https://www.travelsafe-abroad.com/united-states/st-louis/), because this site has provided me with safe places to travel and travel. It's friendly and accessible. I have been using this source for a long time.
-
All is not really ready to accept people. There is still those who are not healthy enough to be among crowds.
-
I still haven't traveled anywhere yet but planning a trip out west next June if things slow down with this virus. My brother in law passed last week and the wife is only doing a virtual service so we will be at home on the computer.
-
I don't like to travel that much,so i would have to say stay home and do stuff around the house :)
-
We rented an airBNB and stayed for a few days at South Lake Tahoe. We felt it was the safest way to go since we could have as much or little with others as we wanted. It was our same group who had basically been in a pod for 18 months. (a relative got sick and we were locked down to care for them before the pandemic got into full swing.) Did all of our own cooking at the house, stayed in 2 house on the same block, went to the lake and did kayaking and hiking. Very little contact with any one else. Got out of town just be fore the earthquake, we did see the big fire that is still burning across the lake in the distance.
-
I don't think anyone knows when it will be 100% to travel and being among others.
-
I've been staying at home but I'm contemplating taking a trip and taking extra precautions.
travel or stay home im staying at home.

Sounds like so much fun; I too love the beach. Have fun and be safe.

We are staying home this year. We really wanted to take a vacation, but it isn't really safe yet. We are going to Greece In 2023, so that will probably be our net vacation.
-
I am staying home, just too much for me I have a :cat: I have a stroller for her we take walks lol.
-
I feel fairly comfortable traveling at this point....just following the necessary precautions
