Can you Swim?
-
Oh, yes, I love to swim and always have! When I was a kid, my family belonged to the aqua center in our town and us kids would be there all day, every day in the summer. :peace:
-
:cat:
>:(
Yes but nowadays it's:
No Gym, No Swim! 😏
Don't judge.
-
I learned how to swim in a lake as a kid. I didn't swim for years except to take the kids swimming at the city pool. Splash and float; teach them how to go under the water, go down the slide and off the boards.
Then, I started to swim for me as exercise. I progressed to swimming a mile a day every morning, then I taught deep water aerobics.
It's been years now since I've been in the pool.
-
Yes, when I was a kid my father took me to a pool for swimming lessons. Haven’t been swimming in years.
-
Nah. Yo' boy can't swim. Plus with that fear that my mother instilled me at a young age by putting and holding my head underwater for a while, I'm in no hurry to overcome and learn how to swim. :'(
-
Yes, I can swim. I was forced by my parents to take swimming lessons at the public park pool every summer as a youth until I mastered all the classes. We lived about 10 minutes from the Ocean as well, so everybody in the neighborhood took those city offered classes.
-
Yes, I can swim. :fish:
-
No I can not swim and am scared of trying. When I was growing up there were no pools to go to
-
Nope I can't swim. I almost drowned at Bible summer camp when I was 12 years old. I'm scared of water. The most I would do is put my feet in but that's it.
-
Yes! It is matter of personal survival.
-
No. I can swim better under water than I can above water. I can do the backstroke.
-
I can not swim a stroke :(

I am so sorry she did that, that is so sad :(

I have been Swimming since before I was in School. I love to Swim. It is one of my favorite things to do.
-
Yes, my mom made me take swimming lessons, because I kept having close calls as a young child. Apparently my dad had jumped in the water fully clothed to save me from drowning several times. I'm not a great swimmer, but at least I can stay above the surface now. :)
-
Yes, though I haven't done it in a while
-
I wish I knew how to swim, I am too old to learn now because I am afraid of the water,
-
not learning to swim is one of my biggest regrets. I had a scare early in my life and was always afraid of water. I made sure my kids could swim
-
I took swim lessons as a kid, but haven't really tried since. All these years later I doubt I could still do it.
-
Can you Swim?
A little. Never really learned a lot.
-
I am not a Swimmer but I can swim. I don't feel comfortable enough to do laps or to attempt to safe someone, but I can safe myself and enjoy enough of the water knowing that I should not drown, but I did make sure my girls learn how to swim very good.
-
Yes, I can swim. I learned when I was a kid from the YMCA.
-
A little but I'm not a strong swimmer.
-
I learned how to swim in high school by just jumping in 8 feet water and coming up. Before doing that i had never swam. My teacher was not too happy with me LOL. I used to jump in the deep rivers and loved it. I made sure all my kids were taught to swim.
-
I can swim a little. I have a lot of respect for water, especially since my grandson drowned on Easter Sunday. I haven't been able to get in the pool since.
-
I am not a strong swimmer. I just really can't swim I try I just don't get anywhere.
-
So now "we" are not only asking questions in the subject line but now we are just repeating the question in the comments? Wow what laziness :bad: 8)
-
No, I can't swim. I have such a fear of the water.
-
Yes I can swim, but try to avoid the sun as much as possible since I have blue eyes, auburn hair and freckles. Being Irish is rough. I burn terrible.
