Title: Lake Lanier
Post by: Mizzkizz7 on August 10, 2020, 06:33:54 pm
Lake Lanier is a reservoir in the northern Georgia area. The lake is said to be haunted, 24 people  have died. and 75 drowned. Some boat related accidents. Two days ago, two boaters were found dead aboard their boat, the reason was carbon monoxide.  Naya Rivera died while on a boat with her son. He made it but she drowned.
It is said that 1956, The corps built the lake on top of a grandstands of the old Looper Speedway to manage navigation and flood control of the Chattahoochee River, to provide hydroelectricity , and supply water for the city of Atlanta.
This is spooky but true.

Ooh, that's really creepy. I'm gonna scratch that off my bucket list.

I'm kidding. It wasn't on my bucket list. But I'm not gonna put it on there either.  :angry7:

Why is it spooky? What makes it "haunted"? People die in swimming and boating accidents everywhere. Naya Rivera drowned in a lake in California. Is that lake haunted now too? I don't get it.  ???

This post is so interesting.  I don't like that weirdo paranormal things happen to people but the history of this lake is interesting.  I watch a lot of shows like Unxplained with William Shatner and the like and I am drawn like a moth to flame to stories like this

No Naya died at that lake in Georgia. Where you get your information from? She was on the boat with her son. They didn't find her body right away it took weeks. Read lake lanier history.
