I just took a Tap survey that was peppered with 20-30 second ads for various products. I'd never seen that before. Kind of annoying, I thought.
-
Haven't had that happen yet, hope it doesn't.

Was the survey the ads? Were the ads part of the survey?
Or while you were taking a survey, did it stop for the ads?
-
Ads in a survey? Gads, I hope the words does not get out on that one and there are more ads and ads and ads.

I had the same experience with a Tap Research survey earlier today. I too thought it was odd. I originally thought it might somehow be related to the actual survey, but that was not the case.

Are you talking about the survey where you watch an ad and then answer questions about it? That IS the survey. Just x out of it. I do those all the time and I like them. They are easy, let you express your opinion about ads on tv, and they always pay.

It is weird to see ads before taking a survey. Let's hope we do not see this again.

The survey was not about the ads -- the survey would pause while an ad for Tide Pods played with a message at the top "your survey will continue after this advertisement" (or something like that). Then a few more questions and another random product ad with the same message -- after the 3rd ad, I just exited the survey.

Yuk! I hope that doesn't happen very often. I'm so sick of trying to read online newspapers with all the ads. They are so annoying yet if I don't allow them, I can't read the story.

I do not remember ever seeing that. I thought you meant the one where you are shown several ads. And seeing the ads IS the survey. Nothing surprises me. The ones behind the survey probably get paid for their ad being shown to x number of people.

I have never seen that before and hope I never do...some surveys take long enough and aren't very interesting already without being broken up by ads

I've never seen a survey like that. Whenever I see an ad while taking a survey, it's usually part of the survey. How weird.
