This weekend I was fortunate to be able to take in some of the beautiful fall colors.
Yesterday I drove my Mom through the local game preserve and just enjoy all the different colors of leaves on the trees ,bushes, and vines. She is 90, and doing quite well. She still lives on the home place but with this COVID stuff she has been rather locked in and doesn't get out often. We had such a pleasant afternoon.
Today my husband and I hiked the trails on in a nearby state park. It was windy, but warm. We left a bit earlier than we had planned as the weather app showed a thunderstorm was heading our way. We got home before any rain fell. So far, I've just heard a few raindrops hit the window. Not sure if it will pass us by or not.

Very nice - we are preparing for the remnants of Hurricane Delta which should bring a lot of wind and rain and may start to take the leaves off the trees.

How totally fortunate for you. I would love to be able to travel to an area that has the beauty of fall. In Georgia where I live, it is not prevalent. Maybe one day I will be able to travel to areas to enjoy fall.

It is always a pleasure to get out and enjoy the day. Hot and windy here today. I am hoping for some much needed rain. Every thing is so dry.

That sounds so nice. Unfortunately around where I live the leaves are not changing like they use to. Most are still green. I miss all the beautiful colors of fall.

We have the beautiful fall colors you are talking about. I love to see the reds, oranges, yellows, so beautiful. The only problem with the changing of seasons is the next one is winter :snowflake: :snowflake: and I hate winter.

I hear you there Nancy5! I don't like winter either! Maybe someday my husband and I will be able to spend some/part of the winter somewhere warm. It will be a few years though.....

I love the fall colors. Our colors don't change much here in the south. I grew up in the north and love all of the colors.
