Title: Reduce The Required Amount to Cash Out
Post by: bostonphil on November 02, 2020, 03:38:16 am
I have a suggestion for Fusion Cash.

Since we have not been paid the forum bonus in months (and may not again), why not reduce the amount that we need to earn in order to cash out. How about bringing it down to $20.00. That would be a bonus all by itself. It would make it easier to attain cash out.

That is a good idea, Bostonphil.  However, that would mean the Administrator of FC would potentially have more work from processing cashouts more frequently.  Thus, it would keep him/them from straightening out other items on the site (that they still don't seem to have time to do or don't care).

The idea is good for the user but not the Administrator.  :-\

The Administrator of this site contracts out quite a bit of work for this site anyway.  They should look to contract out more of it to get the site back to normal operating conditions.  Even if the work was contracted out on a temporary basis.

How do you know they contract out work or quite a bit of the work for this site?  It is pretty obvious that no one is doing any work on this site.  Haven't in quite some time.

Lowering the cash  out amount to $20.00 is a great idea especially if FC is no longer going to pay the monthly forum bonus.
At the very least i wish FC would let us know the status of the forum bonus going forward. :pumpkin: :peace:

I guess for me, lowering the cash out amt doesn't really help me. I wait til around $100 to cash out. I would much rather have the forum bonus added in. But if it would help others, then that's fine.

I feel like this idea has been thrown around a lot, but it's unlikely to happen. For me, a $20 or $25 cashout doesn't make much difference. Between getting a bonus or reducing the minimum, I prefer to have the bonus.

Simple Machines simply supplies the script that runs the Forum and has no input into how it is used.

I for one love that InBox lowered the payout min to 10.00, much more enjoyable to use that site now!  And with my survey page jammed I would enjoy this site more if I didn't have to worry about the cashout min or the deadline to use the credits !

I'm not sure how I feel about lowering the amount as I cash out every month, but I think it would good as it would help others out, but I doubt they will change it

You are correct. Simple Machines does not tell the user how to run the forum.  However, the user doesn't have to create the software to make a forum.  The user (FC in this case) just has to pick out what they want to use in their forum.  Additionally, should the user have any issues with the forum, they refer back to Simple Machines for help.

Thus, the only thing the user really needs to do is monitor the site and pay out monthly bonuses (which neither of these things are happening).  Should a technical issue with the forum come up, they refer it back to Simple Machines to fix.
