Last week an old friend of mine put out a post on FB about who was going to be our next president. My ex Boyfriend and his wife are also friends with this guy. It was as far back as in the 70s when my ex and I dated , and a couple of times over the years I PM ed him with a Happy Birthday on FB. Well his wife started posting under my friends post things like "why don't you get a life" and "I heard a lot of things about you" and blah blah blah. I said to her " why don't you keep to the topic at hand" like everyone was doing. I asked her "why did she take it from being about our next president to all of a sudden about ME? " ...I told her "don't you have places to go people to see and things to do" then she blocked me. Can anyone tell me what that could have been about? ...I just don't get her, help me to understand please.

I don't think I'd like my husband's ex messaging him either even it it was decades ago. What's the point? You aren't friends with your ex. Does he ever reach out to you? It's time to stop pm'ing the ex period. I don't disagree with the wife. When you're married you shouldn't have any ties with the ex unless you had children together.

I wont do that again, but mind you I was 16 and 17 when we dated and I am now 63. I found him out there via our mutual friend and didn't think it was a big deal. I have been with my now BF for 24 years now and she knows that I am in a relationship now. Its just sad that one cant even wish someone that use to be in their life a Happy Birthday....oh well

In the last days the love of the greater # will cool off.Said a long time ago.
As i got older i dont even wanna bother with that kind anymore even tho we are human and still feel the hurt.
Many will take grudges and that attitude to their graves.Sad but thats the way of this world.
As long as U know you didnt deserve that your conscience can be clear.
