Title: Snow and more snow
Post by: sfreeman8 on February 08, 2021, 11:03:50 am: We're making up for a pretty decent winter until the Nor-Easter came through the other week. We got 20.5". Over the weekend, we got another 3"and then temps went into the 40s which snow melted and then froze into ice under the 3". We're supposed to get up to 5" tonight into tomorrow morning..more snow on Thursday and again over the weekend. Either Thursday or the weekend will give us another Nor'Easter. Still haven't dug the car out from the first one, which is another story. ::)

I've never lived where we get over a couple of inches at a time, and that is rare! I know living with it is a different story, but I would surely like to see one of those gorgeous picture postcard snowfalls at least once!

Post by: sfreeman8 on February 10, 2021, 08:30:19 am: Well, now they're stating more snow next Thursday. Thank heavens last night we only got 2". I'm trying to keep a lot of it clear but it's hard and now hubby injured his leg 11 days ago and only now is getting around a bit. I'm so worried he will fall when he goes out. At least his leg is no longer black, but red and some of the swelling has gone down. it's his left leg, my right leg. We make a great pair. LOL

We are dependent on my son now to get the mail, paper, fix the furnace, take the garbage out, get our meds...you name it...plus he's been having a rough time of it and had to move back in with being hospitalized 3 times since Nov. but he's now back to work 2nd shift so only have a few hours in the morning to get everything done that needs to be done.

I grew up in Northern Ohio. Still have family there. But there is a reason that I moved south. :)

Post by: sdenimandlace1 on February 19, 2021, 03:21:11 am: I think the new snow is out of the forecast for us. It is suppose to be nine here tonight. Their is probable 6 inches in the yard. The car was cleaned off till it snow last night, will clean it again today. Yesterday was the first time the mail has run all week.
