Title: What advice would you give to your pre-teen self if you could

I would tell myself to not to take life so seriously. Lighten up.  I was always very hard on myself, striving to do every thing perfectly.  Now I realize that it is not worth it.  I have learned to do my best but not to sweat the small stuff.

My pre-teen self? Stop playing those video games and invest your time into learning another language as you will have more career opportunities.

I would tell my pre-teen self, "Learn all you can about your family history from your parents and grandparents and older relatives, while you can.  One day this knowledge will be very important to you, and your relatives won't be around to fill answer your questions!

I would tell myself to take things slowly, think before you act and don't try to grow up too soon.  Enjoy your teen years and have fun.

I would tell myself to take more risks, join a start up or go for a job overseas, as risks are a lot lower when you are young and it was a great way to take risks.

Don't have sex, focus on your future, and believe in yourself.  I wasn't having sex as a pre-teen but I'd warn of this at that time.

 Enjoy and savor each year and don't rush growing up because responsibility is down the road.

Don’t hurry to grow up.  You have the rest of your life to be grown up but only a few years to be a teen.  Do well in school, I promise you you won’t regret it in later years.  Have fun, but stay safe and remember you can always come to either of us with anything, we won’t get mad, yell, hit, or hate you, we will always love you and be in your corner no matter what.

Bad association spoil useful habits.

I wish i could have stayed clear from some of them growing up,but should realize now that making mistakes in youth was much easier to do at the time.

We should also realize that God forgives us much easier then we do ourselves.

Get on the Internet as soon as it's invented and keep a sharp eye out for Bitcoin so you can buy all you can afford to as early as you can.
