Post by: singletonb on June 27, 2021, 08:43:20 pm
I have spent the entire weekend watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel.  I am really enjoying them.  Are there any others out there that is watching the Christmas movies. Do you think it is too early?

This would be a good time to watch some Christmas movies, while you do not have other things to do.

Christmas is my favorite season and if it's something you enjoy, I don't see anything wrong with it. Personally, it's hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit this time of year because it's so warm outside (and I relate Christmas to snow and sweaters)

It sounds like a good idea to me.  I just had Christmas in June.  Because of Covid, I didn't get my Christmas present from my daughter until a couple of weeks ago.  We had a little Christmas party, wearing silly Christmas hats, listening to Christmas music, and opening presents.  It was delightful!

I don't even watch xmas movies during xmas.  As long as they don't start playing xmas songs in the store it's fine.

I love Christmas movies as well. I agree with others that it's never too early to enjoy them anytime during the year.

I haven't done it yet this year, but in some years past I have listened to Christmas music in the summer. I always wonder how the folks in Australia and other large southern hemisphere countries feel about the Christmas movies and music that are winter season themed.  Their Christmas is in the summertime and July falls during their winter.

There is no actual proof of Jesus BD.

12/25 is NO more correct then any date in July.

But remember we ALWAYS know date of Passover cos Jesus commanded that.NOT his birthday.

I only want to watch them around Christmas time.  Charlie Brown is my favorite and they took it off tv but I have it on tape so still get to enjoy it.

I enjoy an occasional Christmas movie any time of the year.  They usually just make you feel good.
