I like the flake crust the best, I had the mashed potatoes, tater-tot to cornmeal. hum the gravy makes it I really like any proteins that tastes good and tender. Good cool weather meal. Have you made a lot of them and put them is the freezer got to love it. What is your memories of these pot pies? Have a happy The National American Great Pot Pie Day!

Used to make a chicken pot pie almost every weekend for church potluck. I also occasionally make it for my husband.
-
I love pot pies. Love to make them myself along with sheperd pie on cold nights. Not hard to do just a lil work involved
-
I have not made a pot pie in several years. I need to find my old recipe that sure would be good.

Yes! I'm no cook, so when I eat them, it's frozen meals. The brand Amy's makes great vegan, vegetable pot pies. Alpha is my favorite brand. Their Beefy Cheddar pot pie (100% vegan) is delicious!

-
yes I like eating pot pies

I'm a big believer in home made dinners because you control what's in them and you can get it to whatever appeals to your taste buds. Love pot pies are very tasty when made right.

We love pot pies..when Marie Callendar is on sale at Costco we stock up. It is best in the oven but i a hurry you can microwave. Its a nice quick and easy meal when we are very busy.

When I was a kid, I hated them. There are a LOT of foods I did not like as a child that I really enjoy these days! The pot pies at Perkins restaurants are fabulous! We had a Perkins in town for 20+ years, but the owner of this location recently rebranded his business to become an independent pancake house and no longer a Perkins franchise. We went there recently and I was hoping to see pot pies on the menu. (It's not like they are protected intellectual property or anything I wouldn't imagine).
:'( :'( :'( Nope!
There is still a Perkins restaurant in the resort hotel at Cedar Point nearby, but not someplace we would ever really go to for dinner on a cold fall or winter night (I think they typically shut down over winter when the park is closed) - which is when pot pies are the best to eat.

Nah.

I tried sherperd's pie in a restaurant in London a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. I thought it was the best pot pie I ever had. Flaky and warm crust plus hot bold flavor fillings.
-
Only if the pot pie is freshly prepared and not those horrible ones purchased in a store.
-
I make good chicken pot pies. Not bragging, but my husband had a great recipe and I tweaked it to how we like it. I do buy store bought crusts though. I am terrible at making crusts.
-
I have always loved pot pies from the frozen food section of the grocery store. I also love the chicken pot pie from Bob Evans Restaurant.
-

Last night for dinner we had Marie Calendar's giant Chicken Pot Pies and they were great, with huge chunks of Chicken Breast in every bite.
-
I haven't had one in a while but I love chicken pot pies, especially the crust.

Me too, I saw a homemade recipe that looked quite delicious but I have never attempted to actually make it from scratch.
I like them too but pretty much only had the frozen store bought ones.
