Heck I didn't even go to the movies before the pandemic. It got so expensive. How does that work now? Did you have to wear masks? Were the seats sectioned so you don't sit next to anyone? I know some theaters rented out for like $100. I think that was a good idea. Just get 10 people together and you could have the whole theater for yourself.

Yes. One place we were supposed to wear masks as long as we were not eating so we took an entire movie to consume a box of popcorn. My hubby and I sat together but people were pretty spaced out, so to speak. It's no more expensive than usual. The biggest trouble is you can't forget COVID. No one will allow you to do that.
The latest movie we saw was up north in Illinois near Hinckley. We all went to the theater in a big group and sat together and never wore our masks. The movie was The Chosen Christmas movie and it was fantastic. If you get a chance to see it, by all mean go. I highly recommend it for everyone. :angel11:

-
I think I saw Black Widow in the theatre. Looking forward to the next Spiderman Movie.
-
I haven't but I can find a good stream online eventually so why bother?
-
I haven't been to the movies in probably 7 years. I just haven't seen anything that has come out that I just had to go see it before it came available on Netflix.
-
No I haven't been to a movie theater during the pandemic or that much before the pandemic either; except one time before the pandemic. But other than that I never really been to the movies; only if I was invited out. Now I just stream all my movies on Netflix, and other streaming apps.

Nope and dont plan on it for awhile either.

I'm with you dreamy, I quit going to the movie theater years ago because it got too expensive.
-
I did not go to movie theaters before the Pandemic. So no, not going to any theaters to watch a movie.
-
I've been once in the last two years. They keep the theaters here nice and clean social distance mask up & keep people pretty decenlty far apart. Mostly movies in not becuase Im afraid ive just become a lot lazier since the pandemic started
-
Yes, I have seen Shang Chi and Dune recently in movie theaters. It's nice to be back and I think movie theaters take social distancing and cleaning protocols quite seriously, which gives me a peace of mind. It's also really nice as it's not as crowded.
-
No I have not been to the movies since the pandemic. I had not been to the movies before the pandemic for about 5 years. I just wait for them to come on TV.
-
yes, a couple times. Mostly we wait for red box because very few movies are worth $8-$10 for a ticket.
-
Nope, and to echo others on here, I didn't go much before either since it's so expensive and there are so many options for online
