Just watched a doc on him. He died at only 40yrs. Very good story he was bad with money and was suicidal many times. He wrote 1000 words a day and his book call of the wild was excellent. Read it once want to read it again.

I liked a couple of his books. I didn't know that about him though.

I read "Call of the Wild". It was good. I haven't read any other of his works.

Sorry he had such a tragic life. That seems to happen a lot to geniuses.
