But yes, to all out there serving and all that have served through our history...you have my deepest appreciation.

May God bless them and keep them safe until our government finally decides to abandon endless war as a foreign policy. Some of these young soldiers used to be students of mine. I hate to think of how their safety is being endangered for such dubious causes. I know they can't come home tomorrow, but for their sakes, let's create an exit strategy to get of of Afghanistan. Thank God, we are already on the way out of Iraq.

We are deeply indebted to you for your sacrifice and willingness to serve this country.
