Title: EssayBot Stores Your Work Temporarily Unless Deleted
Post by: jessicawright on August 17, 2025, 12:51:10 pm
So EssayBot says it only stores essays temporarily unless you delete them. But what does temporary even mean? A week? A year? I keep picturing my paper on Freud sitting in some random server in California forever. I don’t wanna be paranoid but after hearing about the Meta leaks in 2021 it feels sketchy. Anyone ever checked if they really wipe your stuff or is it just marketing fluff?

I had the same doubts when I tested EssayBot during my sophomore year at Michigan. Left a couple drafts, came back months later—still there. Only vanished after I deleted them myself. “Temporary” basically means nothing. Reminded me of using essay typer (https://essaysbot.com/ai-essay-typer/) in high school—quick tool, but I never trusted where my texts ended up. These platforms aren’t libraries, they’re businesses, so I just assume they keep stuff unless I clear it out.
