:sad1:Bad presents are better than NO presents... Except this year!!! My best friend sent me a 30 year old coat that smells like mothballs... It is hard to thank her for that peice of crap.. I spent over $300, and shopped a long time to find her something nice.. And i know if i say something, she will say I'm being snotty.. But it is really smelling up my house.

Worst? .........mmmmm The worst i would say is this xmess when i was about 11 or 12 i took a bath and got out dident have any underware, mom had told me she would get a par and bring them to me come to find out there wasent any clean, one of my presents was underware and so she went and got the present unraped it and gave me a par, that was not a vary good xmess, atleased thats the one that sticks out in my mind....

My girlfriend's mom this year gave me an ugly purple sweater with the Reebok logo on it. Terrible gift for me for many reasons:
-Its PURPLE. WTF?
-I never wear sweaters. My body is always really warm while indoors, and if I'm going outside, I'll put a jacket on. Its easier to get a jacket on and off. If I leave the sweater on, I'll sweat like crazy inside.
-Reebok is still around? O.o
-Its two sizes too big.
-Did I mention its PURPLE?!

When I was hmm...seventeen years old my grandma crocheted me a 3 size too big sweater with a HUGE ice cream cone with 3 scoops of ice cream on the front and gave me one of them denim purses that you can put jewels and sequins on. Seriously, it was awful. I was 17! What do you do with something like that?

Every year without fail. I just smile and say thanks, you can't be rude, it is the thought that counts.

OMG all i got was some body spray, a bar of soap and a black shirt...wtf? are they trying to tell me something? lol...well yea thats all i got...oh well...merry christmas to me lol.

I got an apple cinnamon reed diffuser yum, a t-shirt, licorice cremes yum, and I got myself a wireless keyboard and mouse.

My ex-husband gave me things that HE wanted. He bought this lamp "for me" that he had been wanting. Yes it was nice but wtf!

I can't really say I've ever gotten a horrible gift. I'm thankful no matter what I get, I know what it's like not to get anything.
That being said...one year, our first Christmas together, my boyfriend now husband got me a crockpot. :dontknow:

My mother in law bought me some bright green christmas pajamas. They were a very bright bright green with little santas all over the pants, and the top just had one santa right in the middle of it.
And it was too big. They were comfortable though. Like sleeping in a festive sleeping bag that goes around your legs.

i was told to sit down (i thought i was getting something huge lol)...my mother in law handed me a small jewelry box. It was a red ornament ball magnet. Whenever I get a christmas basket they come as the free gift. I already had a few at home lol and everyone was looking for a big reaction. How do you react when you open a magnet? lol

My in-laws bought my husband and me packages of underware! Nice thought I guess, but the style they bought for me looks more appropriate for a 60 year old....I'm 37 years old. :dontknow: I choked out a thank you to be polite but I wish i could have just told them how I really felt. :P

:) Almost thirty years ago, someone gave me a green leather jacket I did not need or like. I had the store tag with the price cutoff. I took it to the store for credit and bought something I really like.

When my sister actually did give me gifts, it was things she'd bought for herself but didn't want and I didn't want them either.

:crybaby2:The worst Christmas present I ever got was when I was about 6 or 7 and there was this baby carriage I really wanted..... My mom and dad put my carriage together and put our broken toliet seat that they had replaced in the box..... Boy, I opened it up and was so excited until I seen that seat.... I believe I cried for two hours even after they brought the carriage out to me......

I once got a soccer ball and I hate soccer more than just about anything. It was destroyed prompty after receiving! At least it wasn't a basketball.

:wave: My worse one was a big brass fly that one of my friends gave me about 25 yrs ago. It opens up where it can be an ash tray or paperclip holder. Its really ugly but I kept it just so i could say it was the worst and ugliest present I ever got. She must have been mad at me. :)

My dad went to Colorado this past Thanksgiving to visit his family and his brother gave him this big red bag which had our Christmas present in it. So it sat in the living room for a month and I'm thinking it's something good. When it finally comes time to open it it turns out to be cotton supplies. Like q-tips, cotton *bleep*, etc...

I think that there isn't anything that I can remember. Even if it was something that I did not like, need, or use, I was happy that people thought of me!

A nicely wrapped large present with a slip of paper inside that said: "Merry XMAS!!! ;D " eh, I'll just say the box was my present...its the thought that counts right?

No one understands the true meaning of Christmas anymore...Now days it ain't nothing but a money racket. Who got this?, Who got that?, You spent how much?... :sad1: Kids are so spoiled these days...everytime they go to the store they get a new toy, Christmas is just another day to them. I remember when I was a kid my daddy bringing us in some hard candies, an apple and an orange. And it was very rare that my Granny made me a doll to play with. Those were the best Christmas's ever!! :)

I can not think of one in particluar but my grandma would never buy we what I wanted. She always thought the most expensive gifts were the one to give and of course they were always in her taste. She assumed that if she liked the clothes or the jewerly and that I would like it too,
