I have to pay in about $1100 between my fed and state returns.  I don't feel too bad about that since my boyfriend has to pay in about $15,000.

I actually won free tap prep from completetax.com through a Twitter content. I have to wait until the end of the month for all of my W-2s to come in. Then I'll try it out. I filed as single this whole year and got married in October, so I'm hoping I get some money back.

i always withold as single with additional witholding and when I got married we started to owe money :(   our combined incomes put us in a different tax bracket and we are owing more now.  having our son helped a little, but the $ goes to raise him rather than more in our pockets :)

I'm single so I usually don't get a lot back maybe $300 at best which doesn't last long.  I usually just put it in the bank.  This year I'm expecting a little more because of my job and I have a lot of deductions.

You could make thousands with that $300.
